The location was good, the coffee and tea in the room was lovely. The bathroom was large and the water pressure was great. Lots of hanging and storage space
It was a bit noisy above the bar
Super nice place
Acoustic from another room R rated
Muy comodo, limpio y bien ubicado
Había un ruido constante interno del edificio que dificultaba el dormir, durante las noches se notaba muchísimo. A pesar de hablar con el personal no se hizo nada al respecto.
Beautiful and big King Suite! Very comfortable bed and nice vibe with the trees. Great to have a coffee grinder, french press and kettle in the room. Whenever we go to CDMX (which is monthly) we stay here.
From Wednesday on the Caiman (a restaurant in the same building) has pretty loud music. If you book the lower price rooms that might be an issue if you are a light sleeper.
We found the staff genuinely friendly and accommodating. We were sorry that we get to try the breakfast in the hotel restaurant.. Most days we ate elsewhere with others in our party staying in other places. We did try to eat at the hotel one day but there was ab45 minute wait.
The bathroom while roomy could have been cleaner. Most importantly though was the lack of sufficient lighting once it was dark outside. Another friend who stayed in the hotel before us had the same opinion - the room needs better lighting.
Everything! Absolutely gorgeous, friendly and accommodating staff and one of the best showers i have had in Mexico-french press in the room!!!
Nothing
La ubicación
The location is fine, but loud.
Run down, no amenities, overpriced.
Beautiful building and great location.
It's very run down, appears the owners just don't care. The art deco building is amazing, but this hotel does not maintain it as well as they should. A broken light fixture hanging from the ceiling in the room, peeling paint, and basic things that should have been replaced years ago just have not been. Given the price of this place there is no excuse for it being so neglected. As others have said it can be crazy loud, and if they only double glazed the windows or even added sound reducing curtains to try and solve complaints. But no, they just take the money and refuse to invest into this lovely building. Shame.
Nice hotel in great neighborhood. The room was spacious and comfortable. The reception staff were polite.
Great location, beautiful building, nice décor & design
Super noisy room, due to the bar downstairs. Staff are unwilling to change the room/offer any kind of compensation for the lack of comfort caused by the bar
Me encanta este hotel. Es muy bonito, el café es rico y el staff amable.
Todo me gusta. 😊
Great location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, high quality sheets and towels, roof terrace, amazing water pressure, french press and coffee beans in the room
This was our second stay at Casa Leon, we liked it so much we decided to come back on our return to Mexico city, the rooms are very clean, bed is so comfortable and facilities are great, there are coffee and tea options in the room and fresh filtered water is provided. The staff were welcoming and helpful and I have to say a special thank you to Maria for being so kind and helpful. The cafe next door to the hotel is also wonderful, the location is perfect and the neighborhood is gorgeous, would highly recommend this place!
The only issue to note is that there is a bar underneath the hotel, at weekends it's a bit noisy, bring earplugs, I am a light sleeper and it wasn't a massive problem.
Fantástic location, nicely designed hotel, spacious room and bathroom. Staff was helpful and the coffee bar downstairs is lovely for morning breakfast!
The shower looked a bit dated. However it was good shower wit great water pressure!
Está muy bien ubicado, todas las comodidades y muy amables
Todo me gustó
Delightful place to stay! Clean, cute, the reviews of bar noise downstairs are a little exaggerated in our opinion. We found the noise in the evening totally acceptable. Beautiful design, great coffee shop and perfect location to base from in CDMX.
Nada.
Art deco, simple furniture, interesting artwork.
Dark (bad lighting), cold, noisy location, takes forever to receive hot water, bathtub was tipsy (ended up not using it). A bit dingy, needing some added maintenance.
