Wonderful small hotel in a great location
Pros:

Great location and also extremely quiet. Good amenities and friendly staff. The croissants in the morning were a welcome bonus.

Pros:

Location was great for exploring Gion and the shops on Shijo. Loved the old town feeling once we stepped outside the hotel door. Staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Hotel is beautiful and well appointed.

Cons:

Some traffic noise at night, might be an issue if you're a light sleeper.

Great location close to Gion and a short walk to restaurants etc and the train line. Very comfortable and good sized room with quality amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect for a Kyoto trip
Pros:

The room we stayed in was clean and tidy. After a week in Tokyo and arriving at Miru, we immediately felt calm and relaxed. The facilities were great and everything was clean and comfortable. The location was superb, absolutely stunning and close to anything and everything. This was also for our honeymoon and the hotel gave us a little something that made the occasion feel extra special. Would definitely stay here again.
