Great Country Hotel
Pros:

Well located and beautifully appointed room. Very comfortable bed. The Pubs restaurant serves very nice and well priced food. Great old world pub charm.

Cons:

Whilst we had our own, separate bathroom, it was not attached to the room which made toilet runs during the night a little bit inconvenient. Having said that the bathroom was very nice and clean. Another minor thing, the bed mattress had some type of plastic lining which made our sleep feel a little sweaty.

Overall stay was good
Pros:

The rooms were modern and clean, as were the individual bathrooms. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly.

Cons:

The fact that you had to walk down the hallway to the bathroom. The noise from other people staying at the Kew was next level, and we were woken up a number of times due to someone thumping up and down the hallway and stairs.

Great stop over
Pros:

The hotel has been renovated very nicely. It's neat and tidy without any fuss. The bedroom was simple but nicely decorated, with a bed, two beside tables and a TV.
A bathroom is allocated to the room and unlocked with the room key. Our room (#6) had a "back door" that opened into the bathroom foyer area.
There's a shared kitchen with coffee maker and fridge.

Cons:

On booking i thought it was a little pricey (only place in town), but it's presented so beautifully i no longer think it is

Pros:

Great location close to the highway, lovely rooms, excellent bistro

Cons:

Please get a bigger fridge! Hard to find space when rooms are full.
And in the meantime please defrost the freezer in the current one 🙂

Great place to stay on a long road trip.
Pros:

Charming old pub with beautifully renovated rooms. Nice bed and linen.
Private bathroom (almost new) down the hall was clean and functional.
We'll provisioned common area for guests with tea, coffee etc.
Could not hear much noise from the bar downstairs .
Dinner in the bistro was exceptionally good.
Breakfast across the road at the Corner Shop (opens 5am) was lovely, in quaint surroundings.
Easy, close access to the M1 so it is a great place to break a long road trip. Also a petrol station across the road.
Will definitely return!

Cons:

Soda water at the bar was $5.50/glass!
