Very nice decor and lovely friendly staff.
For a large room it was sparsely furnished. There was no armchair and the tv was a long distance from the bed. There was an open mic night and I was directly above it, so I couldn’t hear the tv anyway. The heating had not been put on ahead of my arrival, so the room which was generously sized, was pretty cold but when it came up to temperature in the middle of the night, I was roasting. There was nowhere to put a toilet bag in the bathroom except for the floor and there was no water glass. Lovely though the staff were, it all just felt like they had never reviewed what a guest might need from the room and as if the last minute checked hadn’t been done.

My only tiny gripe was the tea bags/sugar/coffee in the room were non-existent (plenty of milk!!!) but then I didn't say anything, so I can't complain!
Location was perfect for us, with ample parking in the vicinity. The owner, Grant made us very welcome and the room was a real surprise, lovely decor, a super shower and tea/coffee facility in the room. Imaculately clean too.
The bar was very popular with locals who were very friendly. I must give a shout out to the two girls working the bar, Sim and Lucy I think, they certainly know how to mix a good cocktail or two!

Staff were extremely helpful with early check in and a really friendly atmosphere in the pub later on

We were met by Sam who was the barmaid, receptionist and concierge. She made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The beer garden was lovely and the rooms were modern and stylish. The location is great. There is only 4 rooms which made it feel like a Airbnb rather than a hotel. Would recommend the Bedford Inn.
Kitchen only open weekends
I liked the room it was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the lighting was great too, the shower room was nice and clean , the shower knobs were easy to use. There were enough towels as well. The additional fridge, TV , clothes frame / holder was useful as well.
The host and owner of the Inn were very friendly and accommodating.
More toilet roll, would have been nice
Loved the location, room was beautiful with a fridge, kettle and and a nice bathroom with a good shower.
Sam was really friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome.
It’s a quirky place with a great vibe about it. Stayed for a 60th birthday celebration and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Great venue
