We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. We got a great value by using booking.com. We will definitely look

It was very comfortable, nicely designed, and quiet. The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive.

Cons:

I wish I had asked about parking ahead of time, but that was my mistake. Parking was very easy and convenient. I had just not factored in the extra cost.

Overall great location, nice staff and fairly comfortable room. I would recommend it and stay again.
Pros:

Lobby and restaurant are nicely kept and main floor is clearly maintained.

Cons:

The furniture in the room had quite a bit of wear and tear and even some of the lamps were not quite afixed to the wall, etc. The heating/AC unit was inconsistent at night. Didn't really work at night.

Pros:

Due to a travel mixup, we booked our stay only hours before check-in — delighted to find that the room rate was 50% of other nearby hotels, but also slightly concerned that the lower rate meant lower quality.
Our worries were unfounded: the St. Gregory is a *beautiful* hotel with clean, spacious rooms; cheerful and helpful staff; and a charming bistro just off the lobby. The location is ideal, also.
We have recommended the St. Gregory to several people already. This will be our first choice, the next time we visit DC!

Excellent hotel with the best staff in a really good location.
Pros:

The front desk staff was so friendly and gave good insight into the area and how to get around the city. We appreciated that there were two different metro stations within a 10 minute walk. We felt it was in a very safe neighborhood traveling with young children.

Cons:

I wish they had the option to self park, but the valet was very friendly and didn't mind that we wanted to leave our bags in the car while we went for breakfast after checking out.

Pros:

bed was comfortable
that it had 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper

Cons:

I had to ask more than once for my trash to be taken out
I had to ask for water each day
My phone in the room was not working to call front desk
