A good location, nice hotel near the city centre but let down a bit by no lift access.
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean and pleasant surroundings and a well equipped room with comfortable bed.

Cons:

No lift, so several sets of stairs had to be climbed to access room at the top.

Pros:

El hotel es muy lindo y está muy bien ubicado. Tengo que mencionar que me realizaron un up grade gratuito (porque fui a principios de semana y había disponibilidad) y obtuve una habitación con vistas hermosas y con más espacio… el personal es muy atento y servicial. Si tengo la oportunidad de volver a Edimburgo, sin dudas volvería a hospedarme acá.

Cons:

La queja común entre todos los huéspedes es claramente el tema de las escaleras xq no hay ascensor. Sin embargo, en recepción tienen el detalle de preguntar si deseas ayuda con tu equipaje para subir.

Absolutely perfect, except no air conditioning
Pros:

Everything was perfect, especially the breakfast. However, the only issue we had was the room was a little too snug to have no air conditioning.

Exceptional value in a central location, I would stay again in a minute….loved it.
Pros:

Very clean and much lovelier than I expected . It was warm and cosy and the staff were all so professional efficient and helpful. Location was perfect, central and as we were going to The Playhouse it was perfectly situated. I was completely surprised by the size of this property.
Breakfast in the morning wasn’t included but we did pay for breakfast which was exceptional and very very good value.

Cons:

Room was a little small…..but it did not detract from all the positives .

Hotel cómodo, bien ubicado, buena atención del personal. Estaba limpio y tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia en Edimburgo.

Cons:

Todo estaba perfecto, la habitación no es muy grande, pero para dos personas estuvo excelente y con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia

L’hôtel est vraiment très bien situé et très agréable.

Le personnel a été accueillant, gentil et très agréable.

La chambre été parfaite, propre, spacieuse, bien équipé. La literie très confortable.

Excellently located clean hotel with very pleasant staff.
Pros:

The location is fantastic for the royal mile and princes Street, the castle, the vaults and shops and eateries.
My friend and I did not have the hotel breakfasts as we felt that the price of £15:95 was far too expensive for breakfast when wetherspoons is 5minutes walk away and charge £4:95.
My single room was perfect for size and comfort but was very hot and dry. The windows for safety reasons cannot be opened very wide and thus no air was able to circulate. My bed was made expertly every day bins were emptied and towels changed. This is a very well run hotel with friendly , pleasant staff.

Cons:

My room was too hot and dry and the window could not be opened very wide to admit any fresh air. .
Expensive breakfasts when they're easily obtainable nearby at a much cheaper rate
