Great location
Pros:

Location
- the closest hotel
- Hermitage rooms beautiful views

Cons:

Carry the luggage up the steps
- from the street to the reception
- from the reception to the hotel door
- from the hotel door to the rooms
- the higher the number of the room, the more steps
But this may not be the hotel's fault because
- there are no elevators possible
- all hotels are probably like that?
- they already give a warning
So pack as lightly if possible

Location, location, location. You are literally staying on the island. If you are wanting to see the place post/pre tourists AND are trying to make the free early morning service at the Abby then this is for you. If not, maybe either stay off the island in hotel nearby or pick a different spot.

Cons:

Cost is a bit high for the room size and amenities. Additionally, sea gulls nest right next to the windows so expect to be woken up by 5am through their natural “birdsong” alarm.

Nice clean luxurious and spacious room and the continental breakfast is good!

It does not offer the elevated, panoramic perspective and the view of the causeway from the mainland, though pleasant, does not compare to the stunning vistas available from the ramparts. Those booking specifically for the views may want to temper their expectations.

On the practical side, the arrival process could be streamlined. The requirement to check in at the hotel before the bridge adds an extra step that feels unnecessary, and the map provided to locate the second check-in point is a little misleading — the office is closer to the entrance than indicated, which may catch first-time visitors off guard.

De kamer zonder airco, harde kussens, het bed was te kort. De entree/trappenhuis stonk vreselijk.
‘s morgens was er om 8:30 geen fruit meer. Dat kan toch niet…. Alle schalen waren bijna leeg.

Il Mont è una leggenda.
Pros:

Ottima colazione, personale disponibile; camera ai piani superiori un po' scomoda per la mancanza di ascensore e scale ripide. Posizione invidiabile, ma leggermente rumorosa (a ridosso dell'ngresso principale del Mont). Cibo del ristorante ottimo e bella atmosfera (consumata la cena).

Cons:

Installazione di un montacarichi per i bagagli ai piani superiori (probabilmente non facile da realizzare data la morfologia del luogo).
