Fantastic stay in this hotel, but Kyoto became a disneyland, and in my next visit I will skip Kyoto

fantastic suite room with view on gion and the surrounding mountains- location at the entance of Gion- The hotel restaurant also great for a reasonnable price- have to reserve 3 days in advance except for business rooms!! even found ba vry nice restaurant teppanyaki next to the hotel!

Cons:

one negative point easy to solve* there were a high shelf in the room with a fake bonsai on it full of dust! ask the lady who clean the room to clean it once in a while cause some customer are tall and will notice!!

2 incredible nights in Kyoto.
Pros:

The rooftop is just incredible - between the foot bath and the view, it is truly magical vibe. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful and went over and above. Great location, with countless shops and eateries in walking distance.

Cons:

We were on the third floor. I would have booked a higher floor.
