Sehr enttäuschend
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage. Optimal, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Einkaufsmeile fußläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

I would definitely recommend the hotel and would go there again.
Pros:

A nice hotel in an absolute prime location in Charleston downtown. The rooms are nicely decorated. My bathroom had a spacious walk in shower. The hotel offers a complementary continental breakfast. The selection is limited, but sufficient and of very good quality.

Cons:

Parking in general in Charleston downtown is a costly exercise. The hotel offers valet parking in its own small parking garage for $45 / $55 depending on the size of your car. It’s still a little bit more expensive than public parking in nearby public parking garage. But even if these parking garage is offer that the maximum daily tariff is $24, you must be aware that a day ends and starts at midnight and the hourly rate is $3. That means, if you park your car more than eight hours before midnight and take it out more than eight hours after midnight parking, your parking fee is $48.

Charleston was fantastic—great atmosphere and an amazing New Years party with lots of fun
Pros:

The Palmetto Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Charleston, within easy walking distance of everything the historic district has to offer—restaurants, shops, and major attractions. The building itself reflects the charm of a typical historic Charleston structure, adding to the authentic experience of staying in the city. The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. A great choice for anyone wanting comfort, character, and convenience all in one place.

Cons:

Valet parking is quite expensive, which can add up if you’re traveling with a car. Breakfast is continental and fairly limited in selection, so those expecting a more substantial spread may be disappointed. The coffee was also on the weaker side and could be improved for guests who appreciate a stronger brew.

Nice stay overall
Pros:

The location was perfect, staff was friendly, room was well appointed (but cozy). Overall it's a very charming hotel.

Cons:

Breakfast was delicious but it was exactly the same everyday with not enough choices for it not to become old after a couple days. Changing a couple items every day or two would make a big difference.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Will definately stay here again.
Pros:

Great location, nice staff, nice rooms.

Cons:

Some of staff were not up on the surronding areas to make suggestions. Person working the breakfast was not helpful. Some people do not drink coffee or orange juice and asked for a simple glass of coke from the bar fountain but was told no.

Overall would go back to the Palmetto!
Pros:

We didn't eat the breakfast. It was limited. Hotel was beautifully decorated, clean, friendly staff and location was excellent!

Cons:

To fill water in room you needed to go to the lobby and the coffee maker was nepresso, not regular coffee so had to go to the lobby for coffee as well.

Pros:

Rooms are good sized, well planned out. Like the walk in shower over tub shower.

Cons:

The delivery truck in early morning leaving motor refrigeration running outside. Second floor if hotel, this was quite noisy and woke us up.
