Highlights
The hotel’s façade and lobby are beautifully designed, with a distinct Zeus-themed atmosphere that gives it a unique character. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming, especially the young gentleman at reception. Another major advantage is its location, just a 5-minute walk from the airport, making it very convenient for travellers with early or late flights.
Downsides
Unfortunately, the hotel has quite a lot of room for improvement.
The room was the exact opposite of what the beautiful façade and lobby would lead you to expect. It looked rather neglected and was very dirty. Honestly, it felt more like a motel than a hotel. The ceilings were also visibly old and in need of renovation.
The refrigerator had a really unpleasant smell, was switched off, and had visible rust. The bathroom faucets also showed signs of rust.
The shower drain clogged very easily, and the sliding shower door consisted of only one panel, allowing water to spill onto the bathroom floor after showering.
The telephone was not working and seemed to be there for display purposes only. There was also no remote control in the room, so I had to go downstairs just to inform reception.
The TV was outdated. It’s 2026, and almost every other hotel I’ve stayed at in Albania offered Netflix or YouTube. Unfortunately, this hotel was an exception.
The heating/cooling system was definitely not working properly. The room was uncomfortably hot, and I had to keep the windows open throughout my stay.
Lastly, there was no bedside lamp, which I consider one of the basic essentials in a hotel room.
Overall
For a short stay near the airport, the hotel is certainly convenient, particularly because of its excellent location and polite staff. However, considering the condition of the room and the facilities provided, it simply does not justify the price.
I paid €59 for one night, and honestly, I don’t think it was worth it. In hindsight, I would have preferred staying in the city and simply taking a taxi to the airport.
The hotel has great potential, especially with its impressive exterior and lobby, but the rooms and facilities desperately need attention and renovation.

War alles OK und wie erwartet.. Fußweg vom Flughafen kurz, aber durch den extremen Verkehr (zumindest wenn gerade mehrere Flieger ankamen) nicht einfach. Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber. Sanitäre Einrichtungen nicht perfekt in Schuss, aber völlig OK. Frühstück als Buffet auch OK.
