Nice people
Doesn't look like pictures
Good if you want to stay a bit further out from the Old Town but very easily accessible (10 minutes on a Grab Bike). Clean, big room with helpful and friendly owner. Good food options nearby too.
Not a problem for me, however, the noise from the restaurant and main road might be a problem for some people.
Late check-in was accepted (4 am)
Room was different than shown in picture. Probably because I checked in very late. (4 am).
I guess the room I selected was sold to others and I was assigned a completely different room with no sunlight and overlooking another building in a short distance.
Friendly staff
Noisy Road
Good Aircondititioning, spacious room
Very dirty bathroom, Cockroaches in the room, no chairs on the balcony, door to bathroom doesnt close well, very poor wifi signal in the room, miscommunication with the staff, the room doesnt look like the picture
The friendly staff and locals of Long Bien very warm and welcoming. Happy to answer my questions about travelling, Vietnamese culture and way of life. Room/ bathroom was air conditioned, comfy and clean as advertised. Excellent food from the kitchen! Great location to slow down & relax after a few days in the Old Quarter. Ricky and his crew parked my motorbike safely inside every night which was very reassuring.
It is hard to leave such a great place behind!
Location
It was very old house and they just pain it again with very low quality of facility
Super nice staff, very friendly. Was great to stay out of the most touristy and crowded area
Good spot to stay if you want to stay outside of Hanoi but a short bus trip in so it was good for us. The staff and the owners are really really nice and make you feel very welcome. The room was nice and clean and the balcony is an added bonus.
Loved the property, only little thing is that you can’t walk over the bridge to get to Hanoi, you have to get a bus across as it’s not pedestrian. But still that’s no problem and it’s very easy to navigate!
I like the way the owner support guests. We booked standard room without balcony but we had to wait for 15 minute late check-in, then the owner upgraded bigger room with balcony for us. He is also very responsive.
The casual atmosphere
Bathroom sucks, it looks clean but have strange smell.
Ricky is the best host, you should stay here! He gives you good advice for your trip and has tastiest food in the restaurant.
the room kinda clean, and they have good bathroom=))) (thats all what i ask for so its good for me)
the facilities is not new or modern, they don't have free water bottle and not even a chair
We loved everything and didn’t really want to leave!
They even have a small restaurant with few typical tasty dish that was so comfy after the long days of going around.
This place isn’t worth the money at all. I found a really good apartment in the city center for the same price, so I don’t understand why that room costs that much.
So, we were shocked, cause the room doesn’t look on the photos (it’s really older), then we found out the toilet is leaking on the floor. They don’t give you any water for free, you should buy it in their shop. The receptionist doesn’t speak english at all, so it was hard to explain anything.
