Liam's homestay

Lo que más me gustó fue la encantadora familia que lleva el hotel. Nos ayudaron muchísimo con todas las dudas del loop. El padre apenas habla inglés pero es paciente y encantador, y la hija habla muy bien inglés, se esforzó mucho por darnos información útil. Cuando volvimos de hacer el loop nos preguntaron cómo fue, si estábamos contentos…

Además la habitación es cómoda, está limpia, el agua está muy caliente y el baño también está muy limpio.

Pasamos solo una noche pero la experiencia fue muy buena. El alojamiento es muy barato, con desayuno incluido, y aun así todo estaba limpio y con lo necesario. Llegamos a las 4 de la mañana y nos esperaron amablemente para el check-in. El señor que regenta el hotel fue muy simpático y servicial. ¡Totalmente recomendable para una estancia sencilla y cómoda!

No se puede pedir más por menos. Habitación con dos camas dobles y desayuno incluido por un precio más que ajustado. El dueño es muy servicial y nos recibió a las 4.30am cuando llegó nuestro bus.

Fun fact: she even dropped us off by scooter at the market to buy fresh fruits and at the bank to withdraw cash - such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly taken care of.

They are so friendly. They booked our trip to ha giang (loop for 4 days). It was amazing and really good organised. We have an experience for life! Thank you so much!!

The place was great, our hosts were lovely! Their daughter recommended the best banh cuon place to us and we also got escorted there by her and her classmates on scooters. We had a great conversation with them that evening and learnt a lot more about life up in the North of Vietnam. Breakfast was nice, the coffee was delicious.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. Liam and his family are very hospitable and welcoming. The property is very well-kept and clean. Liam will help you get setup for your Ha Giang loop tour, and you can leave any extra bags you won’t need at the homestay until you return. The group tour he sets up is smaller, which is an advantage because on Day 1, our Easy Riders took us to a waterfall that those companies with huge groups never go to and only the locals know about. Our Easy Riders even gladly stopped at a place I requested that wasn’t originally part of the itinerary. Liam and his family are also very generous, always offering me bananas and inviting me to have some tea with them. Once you are finished with your stay, Liam will also help you setup a bus for your next destination. 100% recommended!
