The check-in process is slightly annoying! Selfie photo, lots of security questions, 50eur deposit on their app before they send you instructions. Their check-in app didnt work for me on my phone. Staff was not responsive to my calls at the moment of my arrival. Had to wait 1h to get a response. Once i got through this pain, it was straightforward and staff helpful.

Nejedná se o hotel, ale o soukromého ubytovatele v rámci hotelu. Sice se to následně dočtete v podmínkách. Ale jinak si to uvědomíte až v momentě, kdy závazně registrujete a přijde vám info k self check-in, nutnost zaplatit deposit, klíče v keyboxu (na který není večer vidět). Apartmán postrada komfort a péči hotelu, povlečení zašlé, ručníky divně cítit, v koupelně navzdory její velikosti vana se zástěnou. Balkon není balkon, ale francouzské okno. Zkrátka a dobře Airbnb jak vyšité. Nic proti, vše si najde svého zákazníka, ale Booking.com by měl toto jednoznačně rozlišit tak, jako u ostatních soukromých hostitelů.

Diaľkové na televízor skoro vôbec nefungovalo, celé špinavé, pleseň v kúpeľni, nefunkčné svetlá v kúpeľni, žiadna cedule na čistenie izby nikto tam nebol za tri dni . Balkón? To nebol balkón to bol parapet . Všetko pôsobilo ako veľmi slabá izba a nie apartmán. Zima na izbe. Cena a kvalita sa nezhodovali a ani obrázky. A v kúpeľni je potrebné komplet nové osvetlenie . A žiaden mini bar, len jedna mala plesniva chladnička na izbe ktorej som sa zľakol. Ďakujem.

The room booked via Booking actually does NOT belong to the "Hotel Zlaty Dukat", it belongs to "AR Golden House, Apartment Rentals". Apparently the hotel sold few rooms to "Apartment Rentals", a company which manages these rooms outside of the official Hotel Zlaty Dukat. Whilst the original rooms of Hotel Zlaty Dukat have 4 star-standard (Tea and coffee facilities in the room, white hand towels, white bath towels, complimentary toiletries like mini shampoos, conditioners, body wash, lotion, soap, etc.), PLUS check-in in person at the Reception, please be aware that none of these are available in the rooms which belong to Apartment Rentals - there is no bulb in the bathroom, though this was already flagged by another guest in one of the previous reviews, the towels are of dark grey colour, no individual mini toiletries, instead there is a bottle of handwash and bottle of body wash (which I personally don't find very hygienic as you don't know if previous guests poured something inside). There is one kettle and couple of mugs in the cupboard (each different colour/style, couple of plates and cutlery in the cupboard). Most of all please be aware that you cannot check-in in person at the Reception, Receptionist knows nothing about these separate rooms. These rooms definitely don't have 4 star standard. But it's a good value for money, the room and the bathroom are big and definitely much cheaper than the original rooms of Hotel Zlaty Dukat. If you are staying for 1 or 2 nights, it's a great choice. The balcony is not an actual balcony, it's just a large window with a railing in front of the window, for your own safety please don't lean on it. Would I book this room again? Most likely yes, overall I was satisfied, but the room should not be advertised as 4*, the Hotel Zlaty Dukat itself is a 4* hotel and its original rooms are 4*, but the rooms rented via Apartment Rentals are not of 4*star standard.
