I recently stayed at iHarmony in Johor Bahru, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
First of all, the room I was given had fungus or mold on the wall, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel room. To make matters worse, the room was infested with cockroaches — both small and large — crawling everywhere, making it an extremely unhygienic and uncomfortable environment.
Secondly, there was no Wi-Fi access on the second floor for the entire duration of my stay, which was about five days. None of the Wi-Fi access points worked, and I had no access to the Internet in my room throughout my stay. This was highly inconvenient, especially since the hotel advertises Wi-Fi as one of its facilities.
In terms of service, I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the receptionists. Even with a minor disagreement, he became angry and aggressive, appearing ready to start a physical fight. When I asked for his name, he refused to provide it. This behavior is completely unprofessional and made me feel unsafe.
On a positive note, another staff member named Shahroor was much more helpful and polite. He handled matters professionally and was the only person at the front desk who made any effort to assist during my stay.
Additionally, I would like to mention that I have recorded videos and taken photographs of the room conditions to document my experience.
Overall, I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to be cautious.
