This place is great for a golf trip , as a destination resort it checks all the boxes , I’ll definitely stay here again

Very nice property , loved the live music and the restaurant. Staff at the concierge was really attentive with every need .

Poor showing by booking.com
Pros:

I've rated several properties booked from booking.com and they have almost all been very positive. This time is different for a very interesting reason.

Cons:

We thought we were booking a hotel room. Our reservation from booking.com used the word hotel in multiple places. Upon arrival we learned, while there were "hotel rooms" ours was a short stay condominium owned by a third party. This meant that if we wanted more soap or toilet roll, we had to pay extra. This meant that when we discovered the room safe was inoperable, we had to work through both the hotel staff and this third party to organize its replacement. Our stay was not miserable; however, we incurred several unexpected and avoidable inconveniences.

I blame booking.com for this "misunderstanding". Perhaps, somewhere in the fine print of the booking process it stated that this short-term apartment was owned by a third party and that we would have to pay for additional soap. If so, this was not overtly stated in large font. The apartment's third party ownership and its consequences were never mentioned on our reservation from booking.com. This was booking.com's poor showing.
