1. Room space is very confined
2. No hanging hooks for clothes and towels
3. Room door is difficult to slide close or open. A door handle will be helpful
4. Outside, extremely windy and unpleasant conditions

Die Zimmer befinden sich in modern ausgebauten Containern und sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Durch die Bauweise hört man bei stärkerem Wind natürlich etwas mehr – das sollte man wissen. Allerdings machen der traumhafte Ausblick und die wunderschöne Umgebung das absolut wieder wett. Die Lage auf dem Berg ist einfach einzigartig.

The containers idea is a lesson in ‘style over substance’. There is a huge problem with damp and humidity. The selling point of the location is that it is up in the clouds, yet the ‘hotel’ has not built and equipped the metal containers for the level of humidity that they know to expect.

The damp caused problems in major condensation, damp clothes, towels, and bedding, dangerously slippery and poorly maintained decking, wet internal floors with water coming up between floor tiles, swollen doors that didn’t shut and no way of drying things out.

Nowhere to hang up clothes or place bags so it had to be on the floor.

We went from the hotel to the airport for our flight home in damp and musty clothes.

We were told that the tap water was “probably okay”, but not guaranteed, yet we were only given one 200ml bottle of water per person in the room and no other free drinking water. Even hostels provide a water dispenser in reception usually.

Although the bedding and rooms were generally clean, the bath mat and our bathroom sink were not.

The standard of rooms is tired.

I wanted to raise this with staff but twice before check out I went to reception and no one was there.

I emailed the day after we left (one week ago) with all the issues and asked for a partial refund and have had no reply.

Given the cost of the “hotel” ($100+ a night) the standard was very disappointing, the service has left much to be desired. I would welcome a reply but I expect the hotel is not concerned with addressing this now that they have the money that we paid for two family rooms for two nights.

Es muss einem bewusst sein, wenn man dieses Hotel bucht und das Wetter umschlägt, dass es richtig scheppert in den Kontainern. Nachmittags hatten wir nur etwas stärkeren Wind. Am Abend und nachts dann sehr stark plus Regen. In den Kontainern merkt man alles davon. Für Abenteuerlustige vermutlich genau das richtige. Für ruhiges und erholsames Schlafen eher weniger.

Elektriciteit was op in de midden van de nacht en wifi en warmwater waren ook afwezig in de ochtend

Die Lage ist abgelegen, man erreicht das Hotel über eine mittelmäßig zu befahrene Schotterstraße.
Kaum Abstellmöglichkeit, kein Kühlschrank.
