Я ночевала в DARI-ZANJIR Family Guest House всего одну ночь. Хоть при заселении были небольшие недоразумения, всё быстро решилось, и пребывание оказалось очень комфортным. В итоге не пожалела: атмосфера очень домашняя, гостеприимный персонал, комфортные условия для отдыха. Хороший вариант для короткой остановки и для более длительного проживания.

The room is very spacious, with everything you need and very comfortable. Everything is new and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is spacious, the towels are good quality, and the shower water is very hot!

The family serves a spectacular breakfast, with a wide variety of both savory and sweet food.
They offer bottles of water whenever you need it!
It's an ideal choice for staying in Samarkand with a very good value for money!

Прекрасный гостевой дом, мне было уютно провести там 4 дня, пока я изучала Самарканд. Хозяева дома очень приветливые, всегда предлагали кофе/чай, водичку с собой в дорогу, когда я шла гулять по городу или возвращалась в номер, а еще готовили шикарные вкусные завтраки! В номере было чисто, тихо и спокойно. До площади Регистан минут 6-7, все в пешей доступности, однозначно рекомендую этот вариант!
Belle maison familiale, j'ai été reçu dans l'après-midi avec du thé, pastèque et biscuits, ça fait plaisir !
Une chambre m'avait été attribuée, j'y ai passé une nuit dedans. Cependant la chambre avait une fenêtre donnant sur l'intérieur de la maison, il faisait extrêmement chaud et le ventilateur (il n'y a pas de climatiseur) faisait beaucoup de bruits.
J'ai demandé une autre chambre avec une vrai fenêtre donnant vers l'extérieur, ils ont accepté.
La qualité des chambres est bonne, belle salle de bain avec eau chaude.
Très bon petit déjeuner également le matin quand on mange sur place ! Par contre, le petit déjeuner à emporter (comme je devais partir tôt) est un peu léger.
Le gérant et son fils sont très gentils, cependant la communication peut être compliqué des fois si vous avez des questions, malgré l'utilisation de google traduction.

The place is run by a family that's friendly and capable and always happy to help. The breakfasts were large and tasty and I was treated with kindness and courtesy throughout my stay. The location is excellent, right near the old city.

It was a wonderful accommodation full of hospitality! The room was larger than I expected and was always warm with central heating, the bed was really comfortable. I was pleased that it had a bathtub, and everything in the room looked very new, as if it had just been renovated.
The host family were always attentive to any inconvenience I may have had, and even though I was traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable staying there.
It was very pleasant. Luxury guest house and very attentive owner and hotel staff.
We stayed in a triple room, vary spacious, good mattress, bathroom with very nice tiles. Everything is very clean. The guesthouse is brand new. There is a chandelier on the upper floor that gives a sense of luxury. It's not far from Registan. What amazed us most is the friendliness of the owner and the whole family. They run after you to offer you tea or coffee when you enter the guesthouse or water and candies when you go out. I had stomach problems and they made plain rice and mashed potatoes for me, asking always how I felt.
As it's mentioned in other reviews there is no A/C but we didn't need it. Besides the fan seemed to do the job although it was loud. There is no TV, not that we needed it. There should be some gadget to catch the flies on the breakfast table.

The hotel is family run and the owner and his son are really lovely lovely people.
Beware that the Dari-Zanjir doesn’t offer AC in its rooms. I am not sure if it is the case with every room but our room didn’t have any AC device in it. When we made it present and asked for an AC solution (booking lists AC as one of the facilities offered by the hotel) we were swiftly moved to another hotel owned by the same family some 5 mins walk away. The second hotel was definitely a bit more run down than the Dari-Zanjir but it did the job. the AC was not working very well in this second facility either, but we were lucky that was a fan. If you’re wondering why so much obsession with the AC, Samarkand temperature in June reaches 40C during the day, and still very note during the night.
Also, the curtains in the shower had mould on them
Nothing, no internet
Rooms were not booked, and they started to offer other options. We had to wait until they cleaned other double room.
