Great stay with clean amenities
Pros:

Very good and spacious rooms. The bathroom is clean with a sliding door to keep the bathroom dry. There is hot water 24/7. Different types of lights available in the room, including the softer bedside lamps. Air conditioning and fan work perfectly.
Bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Smart TV works perfectly. Wifi is great. Luggage storage is possible if your train/bus/flight departs later during the day.

Cons:

Restaurant opening hours are a bit off in the mornings with limited service. It looks like only the guests that took breakfast included in the stay are served with a specific menu. It’s not possible to get a variety of coffee until the restaurant properly opens at 1 pm. The hotel did still provide us basic black and milk coffee when we asked, which was nice but the quality of the coffee should be improved.

A sweet stay
Pros:

This property is great and you can't do wrong.
The hotel arranged the transfer from the station and assisted us with all our requests.
It is 15 minutes by Tuk Tuk from the main Ghats, 200-300rps, which in a way is good, because is more quiet.
The Restaurant is very popular with locals and the food is great. We had 5 meals , plus breakfast , so had a good idea. French fries, chick peas, pasta, pizza, naan, palak paneer, avocado on toast.

Cons:

Our room was near the restaurant and that did not disturb us, there is good sound proofing, however the desk phones should be on silence after a certain hour.
The Country music in the morning was not our favourite , but that's being picky. As a French Inspired concept , could have some chill out music.

Great Hotel, lovely, helpful staff
Pros:

Great staff and owner Sid was very helpful.
The rooms are large and comfortable lovely ensuite bathroom. The beds were comfortable and had good linen.
Sid organised very good driver, and a good guide.
The overall experience was really good.

Cons:

The property is about 15 to 25 minutes ride away from The Main town, but it is still a very noisy locasion. The locasion has the advantage of getting away from the constant excitement, and hustle and bustle, but you do have to plan ahead. Unfortunately, Sid was let down by his Boat Man who twice didn't Show. Sid needs to look into this.

Pros:

They do not have parking but they claim. They make the car parked at the road and they keep Car key with them and keep moving cars. Their driver hit my car while moving from one to other place and my car was badly damaged. When I complained, the owner said that their staff will compensate with his salary. That was really in bad taste.

Pros:

I like the staff who took care of any concerns that we had, they tried to figure out to solve the problems. All the staff works very hard to make customer happy and comfortable.

Cons:

First night, we had so many mosquito got in to our room, not sure where they were coming from and staff tried their best to find a solution and offer to use another room to sleep that night. That was very thoughtful.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in Varanasi

Ich hatte ein wirklich sehr schönes Zimmer. Das Personal hat zudem alles getan, um meinen Aufenthalt perfekt werden zu lassen. Vielen Dank dafür! Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Cons:

Keine Kritik am Hotel, nur zur Info: Das Hotel ist etwas weiter weg von den Ghats. Es sind laut Google-Maps ca. 4-5 Kilometer. Es ist kein Problem zu einem günstigen Preis eine Auto-Rickshaw oder ein Taxi (auch Uber) zu bekommen. Wenn man zurück zum Hotel möchte, sollte man sich zunächst etwas von den Haupt-Touristenplätzen entfernen um nicht zu viel zu bezahlen. Wenn man möchte, hilft aber auch das Hotelpersonal dabei, ein Taxi zu organisieren.

Staff is awful and rude. Don’t come to this place.
Pros:

It was clean, owner seemed nice at first.

Cons:

We reserved this place because it had many options form foreigners, but please don’t get fooled by that.
There were some so called restoration works taking place at the time of our arrival.
Due to painting of the staircase, which obviously runs throughout the whole building, very strong smell of fuel/paint was present in the whole property.
After informing the staff that staying in a place with such strong fuel/paint smell is hazardous for health,
they proposed us a different room, but the smell persisted and was still unbearable.
After informing the staff that the smell is still so strong that we cannot stay in any of the rooms, the staff member told me:
“The problem is in your mind”
Afterwards staff members refused to return our money and laughed about the problem among themselves. Finally after contacting booking.com and police they offered to return to us 2/3 minus tax of what we paid.
