Mountains, Rice Terraces & Pure Peace
Pros:

This was such a special stay for us. The homestay is right by the river, surrounded by mountains and rice terraces, the views are absolutely breathtaking and the whole experience feels very peaceful and idyllic. Facilities are simple, as expected in the countryside, but everything you need is there. The bed is a futon on the floor so not the most comfortable, but honestly it felt like a small trade-off for the experience overall. What really made the stay was the staff. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and even though their English was limited, they went above and beyond to help us with everything. We arrived very early (around 7am) after a sleepless night on a bus, and they kindly let us rest and have a breakfast before heading out. After check-out, we went trekking and they again allowed us to come back, shower, and freshen up, which we really appreciated. They also offer laundry by weight, which was super helpful in the humid climate, and everything came back clean and fully dried. Breakfast is simple but surprisingly good, we even got to try purple rice for the first time, and the coffee (especially the coconut one) was amazing.
Bonus points for the adorable animals, the cat and dogs were so friendly, and the cat even came to snuggle at night!
Overall, a truly memorable and authentic stay.

Pros:

- View suối và cánh đồng lúa xung quanh đẹp tuyệt vời, được tắm suối thích lắm, nước rất trong.
- Món ăn và đồ uống cũng ngon.
- Chủ nhà thân thiện vui vẻ nữa, có dịp sẽ quay trở lại.

Cons:

- Đường vào nhỏ phải đi bộ và hơi lầy lội do mưa. Nhưng chỉ là 1 điểm trừ nhỏ vì đi bộ cũng gần.

Overall is worth it.
Pros:

The view and calmness. Oanh is such a bubbly and friendly staff. Bed and toilet are clean. And the breakfast!! we had egg bahn mi which was super nice. Oanh served us fresh green salad from her own garden.

Cons:

The river was quite dirty. Too much rubbish spoiling the view. And dogs..it was actually neighborhood dogs. maybe its ok for someone who likes dogs. but not me haha
