Belle chambre style coloniale et propriétaires adorables
Pros:

Établissement parfaitement tenu par un couple adorable. Mention spéciale à la propriétaire qui a été aux petits soins pour nous et notre fille. Le gérant est aussi très gentil et disponible. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. La salle de bain est tres bien avec une douche chaude. Les repas et petit-déjeuner sont excellents. La piscine est très appréciable après une journée bien chaude !

Cons:

Un petit peu loin de la ville mais au pied de la plage. Les propriétaires nous ont appelé des tuktuk à chaque fois que nous en avons eu besoin.

Fantastic , relaxing stay.
Pros:

Beautiful , spacious accommodation with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Elisabeth , Max and team are really welcoming and create a relaxed atmosphere. They kindly lent us bikes so that we could explore the local area. The sunsets from the balcony are incredible. We enjoyed dinner at the property on both nights of our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Pros:

Proximity to the sea was great but being so far out of town limited exploration of the area.
Cool, breezy hotel, it was nice not to have to use A/C
fHosts were very friendly and welcoming.
Balcony overlooking gardens and sea was delightful.

Fantastisch, sehr zu empfehlen ❤️
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und verfügen über bequeme, große Betten. Der Speisesaal und die Yogahalle sind ebenfalls sehr schön. Alles ist äußerst sauber.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel, das nur durch eine Straße vom Strand getrennt ist. Es ist von einem wunderschönen Garten mit Pool umgeben und liegt am Rande eines Dorfes, wo man Sri Lanka noch sehr authentisch erleben kann – weit weg von Tourismus und Lärm.

Im Hotel selbst herrscht eine stilvolle, häusliche Atmosphäre. Wir sind dort gestrandet und wurden von den Gastgebern so liebevoll umsorgt, dass es die beste Woche unseres Urlaubs wurde. Aufgrund der ungewissen Rückreisesituation wurde die Reservierung sehr flexibel gehandhabt. Elisabeth und Max gaben uns stets das Gefühl der Sicherheit und standen uns in für uns schwierigen Momenten mit Rat zur Seite. Genauso wurden auch alle anderen Gäste umsorgt.

Dafür sind wir ihnen sehr dankbar und würden hoffentlich irgendwann wiederkommen können."

Ein kleines Paradies!
Pros:

Angekommen und direkt durch den freundlichen Empfang durch Elisabeth und Max wohlgefühlt. Hier wird die Gastfreundschaft liebevoll gelebt. Wir haben hier die schönsten Zimmer unserer Rundreise bekommen. Das ganze Haus war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alle Speisen waren fantastisch. Wir können das kleine Spice of Ceylon jedem empfehlen! Herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team!

Pros:

A delightful small hotel in a quiet fishing village. Spacious rooms with a sea view. There are no restaurants nearby but the food at the hotel was very good. All of the staff were good and Elizabeth and Max could not have been more helpful.

A nice retreat with very little to do while you enjoy the garden, beach and space.
Pros:

If you want to chill out with very little to do, this is a great place. Lovely owners and staff, garden and pool. Beech just the other side of the road with lots of friendly fisherman. About a 10 minute ride to Chilaw town where you have a choice of restaurants etc.

Cons:

Food on site is nice but slightly limited.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Large room overlooking the sea with a fridge, efficient ac and comfortable bed. Lovely swimming pool. Owned by a Swedish couple who were delightful . Good value.

Chilled, comfortable 3 night stay in a lovely environment
Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to sea swimming as well as the lovely pool. We borrowed bikes to explore the local villages.

Pros:

Très belle chambre, propre et confortable. Vue sur la mer. Belle plage, propre, devant l'hébergement. La ville de Chilaw, à 7km mérite d'y passer faire un tour. Le bus s'arrête juste devant l'hébergement.
