Quick stop over
Pros:

Staff were really friendly, location was lovely and the room was nice and clean, I stayed a night and it was perfect for a stop over, I didn't have my dog with me but I loved it was dog friendly

Cons:

It was great for its price, and amenities did what they needed to, I did think the bathroom could use an update in its decor as a little dated but everything worked fine! So not a big thing

Perfect place on the coast to coast
Pros:

The room was lovely, great comfy bed and large bathroom with bath . Tea coffee facilities, hair dryer . Perfect stay before my last leg of the coast to coast . Great staff

Excellent pub, walks, and staff.
Pros:

Property is absolutely gorgeous, new decking outside to enjoy. Room was clean, presented well and facilities very well maintained. Bed very comfortable! Food from the bar outstanding, speciality was Pizzas and the cooked breakfasts were to die for.

Staff very helpful and couldn’t do anymore to help and ensure our stay was to an exceptional standard. Suggesting walks and having good knowledge of the area. Welcoming whenever we entered the pub and knew our pint order by heart!!!!

Cons:

Only critique we have is the towels were small but were clean. Did the job

Superb
Pros:

The room was well furnished with very good en suite facilities. The landlord was very hospitable. I forgot my phone charger and he very kindly gave me one of his for the rest of my walking holiday. This was a relief as all my maps were on the phone! Bar was very quiet as it was out of season, but there was a good range of beers at reasonable prices. I enjoyed my stay.

Great overnight stay
Pros:

Arrived in time for a delicious Sunday lunch, a great start! We had a lovely stay - loved our very spacious, comfortable room, the staff were friendly and helpful and the bar was warm and welcoming. Topped off with a tasty breakfast next day. We'd love to stay here again.
