Hari Har Bhavan

I liked a location but was difficuld to find. Google map did show, a very difficult way to get there around by walking and it was wrong by google ,no rikha wanted to go there. It was 5 min by riksha... I asked 5 tuk tuk. But they have no commmission -so they refused to go there. I have to walk. 15 min with my suitcase... very horrible walk.Room was fantastic , with windows, terrace breeze from the sea, hot water,but I extended for the next day. My bus was on evening 10 pm...so I wanted to have a room before the night bus. He did collect the same money by cash- no discount...at all, he did not agree for discount for hak night.Even I was leaving after 9 pm.The owner is not living there... there was a problem with a gate. They close gate on evening from inside. When I come back on evening- the door was closed from inside. No bell....nothing. I asked the neihbour for help. Nobody speak english there was a.... problem. My tel battery flat, needed toilet badly...but nobody there. Neighbour jumped over the gate and opened. The same evening the owner come to me, and he told me ,that he has a booking on my room next morning ...so he asked me to move on morning to another room. I agreed, even I payed full price for another night. And a problem started. When I come back from the town ... no key left to another room. I needed toilet badly. So my battery of the phone was flat again. Forgot a charger. Had to ask next door for bathroom. They called the owner. He left a key obove the door... But no info about it -to me on my whatsapp ? Or sms? I will not recommend this place for foreigns. I did give him 500 rps to buy the water for me. He should take 310p rps + 20 + 30= 140 rps ...but he did,t give me change back...even I did asked several times. Tips or what? It is a price of unlimited Thali there😉
. But in another side - the owner was very nice, speak english, but do not have idea about business at all.He did help me to board the bus close to the hotel.

Good experience

Nothing it was pathetic stay while booking it was showing that twin room with 4 bed on actual arrival to property owner told me that only double bed room you have booked.

Location is very bad and dirty area.

This is a cowshed,animal shelter not a hotel or lodging for human.The pictures and the information is completely misleading.The owner is downright dishonest and when me and my mother arrived at this place we saw there was no ac,no basic modern facilities available as claimed on booking.com.I told the owner that this was downright cheating and I urge booking.com to immediately delist this property from the portal as this is a sham.
