The location was good, in Treme, about 5 minutes from Frenchmen St and 10 minutes from the quarter, easy to get everywhere. The room was spacious, as was the common area, with complimentary coffee (pods) and an equipped kitchen if you want to cook while you're there.
We happened to be there during a cold front, with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s and the house was freezing all the time. We couldn't change the thermostat, and the house clearly wasn't insulated, understandable in New Orleans, but still something to keep in mind if you're visiting in the winter. Our bed also seemed to be broken, one side was sunken in. You couldn't tell looking at it but lying on it felt like we were about to roll off the side, which was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Also be aware that this is an old house in a historic, low-income area that has been renovated into tourist accommodations.
The place is beautiful, extremely new and clean. Also very quiet. Location is excellent, close to everything. High value for money, we really enjoyed our stay.
Close to the French quarter
Neighborhood looks a little sketchy but we did not have any problems
Room and all facilities was very good
I was a little skeptical when we arrived. We had a long day of driving and rain; it was after dark when we arrived. The neighborhood seemed sketchy at best. After a good night's sleep, we got up and walked to The French Quarter. Along the way we saw many houses in the neighborhoods that had been/were in the process of being updated including the one in which we were staying. The decor was well done with a beautiful chef's kitchen. The staff was wonderful and even kept in touch until our check in. We felt very good about our stay.
I don't think there was anything that needed help.
The beautiful architecture and the room was all amazing and well designed!
Beside the door jam and me getting locked inside.
We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is really good… just a 20 minute walk to the French quarter. The room and kitchen facilities were outstanding. The decor is French and very chic. An Uber cost between 8 and 12 $
The room was quite warm and although the fan really helped with this the remote control didn’t work so we couldn’t adjust the speed. This was our only negative though
Accommodation was exceptional
Very clean & spacious
The location
The road is not very nice
Abit of a run down area of town
Staff was responsive and easy to work with. I would consider staying again.
Property should consider installing another set pf lock like a dead bolt lock on the front door. No incidents a majority of homes have two locks.
The idea it was close to the French Quarters, different activities, and eateries.
Anyone had access to the home. Rooms are sold individually instead of having an entire home to ourselves. Room temperatures are not controlled by guests but instead by ecosystem settings. I do not know this until we were leaving.
