Für einen ruhigen Urlaub perfekt.
Pros:

Die Aussicht war unglaublich. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend.

Cons:

Die Lage ist für Sonnenuntergänge und Aussichten hervorragen, das bedeutet aber, dass das Hotel weit vom Strand ist. Man braucht einen Roller oder mit 20min Spaziergang zum Strand rechnen.

Een pareltje op Ischia
Pros:

Een echte trouvaille, dit hotel. Wat een fijne locatie, prachtig uitzicht en lekker ruime kamer met balkon en ligbedden. daarnaast een groot terras waar het zwembad is, waar wij het ontbijt nuttigden. De eigenaren is niks te veel, ze staan continu voor je klaar om je te helpen. Echte lieverds. Je wandelt in n klein half uurtje naar Forio, superleuk dorp. Er gaat ook een bus. tip: neem de 197 of 198 bus waarmee je helemaal rond het eiland rijdt. Dagkaartje kopen en je kunt uitstappen waar je wilt.

Cons:

Echt niets, het is een prachtige plek, goed bed, absoluut fantastisch rijk ontbijt en superlieve eigenaren.

Felt very welcomed and special
Pros:

The hotel is perched on hill above the see near Foria. It has wonderful views from the room. It is family run and the family, headed by Amerigo are absolute stars. So warm, welcoming, friendly and super super helpful. Amerigo picked us up from the ferry, dropped us off to the ferry, made excellent recommendations for where to eat, places to see, etc. He could not have made us feel more welcome and I would say he went above and beyond.

Accueil, Générosité et Gentillesse
Pros:

Amerigo est très disponible pour nous permettre de passer un excellent séjour, quelle générosité ! Ce fut un réel plaisir de trouver la bonne humeur de Paolo au petit déjeuner !
Dommage que nous ne maîtrisons pas plus la langue pour pouvoir échanger davantage avec cette équipe très sympathique. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est incroyable, nous avions une vue sur mer et avons profité des couchers de soleil. La chambre était bien confortable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, Merci !

The hotel is excellent! Wonderful location and great staff (thanks Amerigo, Paolo & the entire crew)!!! :-)
I was allowed to choose my favorite room....
Amerigo was so nice to pick me up from the ferry and drop me off on my day of return.

Cons:

The location upon the hills is great; but you have to walk almost 30 minutes to go to the centre or to the beach. Otherwise you have to rent a car or a scooter....
Unfortunately the restaurant was close due to seanson's end....

Pros:

Unser Aufenthalt im Poggio del Sole war sehr angenehm. Alle Räumlichkeiten sind in Realität so schön wie dargestellt auf den Bildern. Das Hotel wird seit fast 30 Jahren als Familienbetrieb geführt und man bekommt die herzliche Gastfreundschaft zu spüren. Das Zimmer mit fantastischem Meerblick war einwandfrei. Der Manager Americo ist jederzeit für Fragen verfügbar und sehr zuvorkommend. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass das Hotel nicht an der Hauptverkehrsachse liegt, jedoch mit Bus grundsätzliche erreichbar und dafür sehr ruhig. Mutige Gäste könnten unkompliziert via Besitzer Americo Roller oder Autos mieten. Bei besserem Wetter hätten wir die Terasse mit Jacuzzi und Pool auch sehr genossen, besonders die Morgen- und Abendsonne. Man hat zudem Gratis-Zugang zu Liegestühlen am Meer im anderen Hotel der Familie. Das Frühstück ist simpel, aber tiptop und wird inklusive selbstgemachtem Gebäck mit viel Liebe von Paolo zubereitet. Sehr preiswert, wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Beautiful view, nice staff and cleaning service every morning. It was too cool for the pool during our stay, but it was always clean. Breakfast was amazing, you'll have the chance to drink one of the best cappuccino out there!

Poggio del sole is incredible. Everything about this hotel was amazing. The views the pool the staff all excellent. Our host Amerigo and his family went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely be back

Beautiful view
Pros:

This hotel was so beautiful with a stunning terrace where you can watch the best sunsets on the island. What really made our stay perfect was Paolo (cappuccino man) every morning he greeted us with a huge smile and was always so friendly and funny to talk to. It was a pleasure getting to see him every morning thank you Paolo!

Cons:

Only let down was that the hot tub was freezing cold

Très agréable séjour de long WE. Ischia est une très belle île! Musées et sites historiques top.
Pros:

L'hôtel est très bien situé, on y jouit d'une vue extraordinaire. Très joli bâtiment. Certaines chambres disposent d'une formidable terrasse, grande et bien aménagée, dans la verdure. Piscine soignée, jacuzzi. Très bon petit déjeuner. Personnel très aimable. L'hôtel loue aussi des scooter en excellent état!

Cons:

Certaines réparations et petites rénovations s'imposent! Cabine-douche en piteux état, chasse d'eau défectueuse (ch. 211)

l'extreme gentillesse et disponibilité de toute l'équipe toujours aux petits soins et toujours prêts à rendre le séjour super agréable..on se sent vraiment comme en famille..la chambre disposait d'une terrasse, avec une vue extraordinaire à 180° sur Forio et la mer, et sur d'inoubliables couchers de soleil. Le descriptif sur le site Web de l'hôtel est parfaitement fidèle à la réalité...Un autre plus non négligeable, est l'accès à l'autre hôtel de la famille, en bord de mer , les pieds dans l'eau, et avec un restaurant d'excellente qualité..
