View rất đẹp nha, vị trí lại gần phố cổ đi lại cực kì thuận tiện. Phòng sạch sẽ, đầy đủ tiện nghi. Anh chủ cũng rất nhiệt tình 💞. Lần sau đến Hà Giang tui nhất định sẽ ghé lại. 🤧
Lady at the front desk were rude from the arrival. I told her that I have a reservation, she was just surprisingly looking at me and didn’t say a single word. She didn’t check anything, didn’t asked for my passport etc.. just grab the keys that were supposed to be for my room. After that my boyfriend came (he is Vietnamese) so she just talked with him. ( super rude) we went to our room and after few minutes some men came up banging on our door and screaming in Vietnamese. My boyfriend came out and this guy were asking for our passports, (so lady clearly didn’t do her job)
Next day (we booked for two nights) she came up to my boyfriend asking him when we are doing check out, he told her that we booked for two nights and she was really surprised. So idk how is that lady spiking her job. The day of our check out, she were asking for money, we gave her price that we had on the booking and she start asking my boyfriend for more, after that she called some men, put the phone in the hand of my boyfriend and that men was telling him that he need pay more.
After that we left and paid just what we had in the reservation from booking.
Very unprofessional, rude.. I guess if you are not Vietnamese you are not welcomed, but anyways if you are they will try to scam you :)

We stayed just for 1 night during our Ha Giang loop trip. For this purpose, it was convenient. The hostel has very simple amenities, nothing special. Nice staff clean rooms.
I would not recommend the hostel if you plan to stay longer. Not a very warm atmosphere and i feel like most people just stay for one night.
We came here in February and the rooms were really cold, the heating did not help much.
Best bang for your buck
We ordered 2 seperated rooms but had to use the same bathroom. And it's outside the room so a lil bit inconvinient
It is confusing. On Booking.com there is this place "Ethnic House Junior" and also another place called "Ethnic Junior". They seem to be the same hotel. I booked Ethnic House Junior and thought that it had a private bathroom or an en-suite bathroom, but the bathroom was across the hallway/stairs. The Manager assured me that it was a private bathroom "For my use ONLY". Many different people used it from the restaurant. It had been used during the night and in the morning too and so I asked about this the next morning he said "Yes people from the reastaurant use it". So it clearly, despite what he said, isn't private, it is shared. The room itself had 2 big beds, was very comfortable and clean. I think if you book the Ethnic Junior, which is more expensive, you get the rooms with en-suite. I moved rooms after one night and paid extra for a very nice room with a view and a big en-suite bathroom. It is a good hotel and it is clean and comfortable in a very good location on a street of old buildings near the Old Town. But they should clarify the listings and make it clear that the cheap rooms at Ethnic House Junior are shared bathroom and there will be a people from the restaurnat using the bathroom.

The guesthouse has a great location, very close to the main street. It is extremely clean, features a modern design, and offers amazing views.
The guesthouse has a restaurant upstairs, and the noise can affect rest at night, but it stops after midnight.
We booked here on 5/11 for our stay on 30/11. Although we booked about 1 month in advance, however close to the departure date we were asked to cancel the room on the grounds that the staff didn’t close the room on booking.com and we did not receive any apology for this.
