Loved staying over and really appreciate the kindness from the owner

Hôtel atypique. Que je décrirais plus comme une sorte d’auberge de jeunesse prenium. J’avais ma chambre avec salle de bain et j’ai pu utiliser la cuisine. Autonomie pour l’arrivée grâce a des digicode. Le tram s’arrête juste devant.

The check in instructions say to submit something 48 hours ahead of time, but there was no reminder, and when I reached out on Expedia I received no response. I then called and the person on the phone did not sound very welcoming. I was instructed to reached out via message and they replied with a copy and paste message with someone else's name. Very unprofessional. The kitchen also didn't have a microwave, which is one of the utilities that defines a kitchen.

Clean, funky older building liked it alot. Everything worked fine.

The room and building were misrepresented in the photos. The front yard is unkept and covered in weeds. The front step is crumbling and the floor of the front porch is decaying. The outdoor safety lights did not illuminate after dark. The rooms were grimy with age and not well cleaned, The kitchen had garbage piling out of the garbage can and a full bag beside it. The sink was full of dirty dishes. The hand soap container in my room was so emoty it wouldn't pump. No towels were supplied and I had to wait for an instacart order made by the owner to receive towels a few hour after requesting towels. The internet was very poor (I couldn't conduct video meetings) and there was a tenant (whom I'd seen previously in the building) apparently nodding out on the porch one evening when I returned. The only redeeming quality was the very prompt communication from the owner.

Do not at all recommend this property. It is not how it appears in photos, it is dirty and rundown and barely liveable. The tap in the bathroom was broken, the toilet barely worked, the handsoap was heavily diluted with water (had to buy a new one along with cleaning supplies), the shower was gross and had mold (and we found hair when cleaning), the lock on our door was not secure, the fan did not work (it was extremely hot), the couch had cigarette burns on it, the outside of the building was crumbling, there was water damage all over the ceiling and walls, the shared kitchen was so dirty it couldn't be used, and the only way to contact the property manager was through text. It was so bad that me and my friend only stayed for a night, asked for a refund, and booked elsewhere for the remainder of our trip.

C’est très vintage comme hôtel, on aime la décoration et la chambre en tant que tel mais on trouve qu’il y a plusieurs trucs qui ne marche pas et que la propretés n’est pas 10/10.

The property is old, but it is very affordable and safe, the facilities are updated and the people are very kind!

Not like the pictures on Expedia. Rustic old Toronto stay. Don’t recommend

Cancelled my reservation 4 hours before check-in and even the Expedia agents that helped me could not reach them.
