Close, clean, unpretentious
I don't have any nice thing to say about this hotel.
It's my 1st time in Japan, during my 2 weeks at Japan, I stayed at 6 different hotel and this one is the worst in my opinion.
The staff was ok, however the reception desk closed at 10pm, you have to buy water and ice, however due to the facility closed at 10pm, I didn't have the access to the vending machines therefore I couldn't buy ice and water.
I arrived at the hotel late and ended up didn't have water when needed.
The room is very old, there's only 1 outlet at the table, very inconvenient.
The furniture includes a very old table and old small chair, the room also provides 2 small paper cup, NOT even a glass/ceramic cup when needing to contain the hot water.
The room is the most expensive one compares to other hotel, I paid for this room $200 US dollar while only $100-150 for other hotel.
Номер просторный, в тоже время отель не предоставил халаты для посещения онсэна, пришлось ходить туда в своих шортах и футболке. Жилетку дали, а халат нет. Онсэн маленький, совсем рядом с жд путями, видно проезжающий поезд. Для одной или двух ночей подойдёт, но не более
Возможно будет мешать спать стук поезда и сигнал жд переезда .
Super close to the station, convenient

The room smelt like smoke, the aircon barely worked so we had to use a fan which was broken, beds were as hard as rocks, shower sprayed everywhere, so we had to leave early
The onsens were wonderful. We both enjoyed them. Very relaxing. Location great for Ropeway.
We stayed in 2 three single bed rooms as a family for 1 night. The hotel is dated but is very well located just next to gora train station/cable car. The train noise did not particularly bother us. We did not eat at the hotel. The beds are hard but the rooms curtains make the room dark so we all slept well, whilst travelling around Japan we have stayed in places with no curtains or very light curtains so appreciated this. The staff were helpful and polite with limited English. They stored our bags before book in and after check out. There is an hot spring bath the single sex communal baths are naked but we were able to book a private hot spring bath room. We enjoyed the area and really loved the open air museum which is about a 15 min walk from the hotel or you can get a train/bus. Picture of private onsen, open air museum.
Have private onsen
The beds are very hard. You literally sleeping on the metal spring. Bed could use update. Location is good.

The breakfast was terrible; the train and boom gates made noise every 15 minutes from 6am to 11pm; the bed was like a rock
Close to Gora. Close to cablecar and train. Stored our luggage so we could enjoy the rest of the day. English was poor but very helpful.

Location is great. Next to the Gora Station. Very easy to walk from train station.
Because the hotel is old with carpet so I felt more dust and smell isn’t so good.

I have stayed there many times. The hotel is reliable but the facilities are dated. Rooms though clean are old and needs renovation.
Dinner was a little disappointing for the cost of Y3800 per person. In the past dinner was included in the room stay and included more variety of food including additional seafood items such as king crab legs. The dinner now includes drinks but I do not drink alcohol so this was wasted on me.

Breakfast ends at 9am, dinner at 9pm. Everything would need some refreshment.

Great location to get off train and walk to hotel. Nice sunny room with pleasant view. Onsen pleasant.
No one at reception spoke any English - but we managed by going online and reading about the hotel and facilities. Most guests were Japanese.
Most restaurants close by 7pm so book early!
