Worst stay in my life. Would rather sleep in a car.
Pros:

Location and cuisine

Cons:

The staff is uncompetent and doesn’t care at all about the guests. When we arrived with a booking confirmed one day before they were surprised. We were asked multiple times about put booking and informed that „someone else takes care about booking.com”. Had to wait more then 40 minutes to get a room which was clearly being prepaired just when we have arrived. On the second night there was a valentine party in the backyard but it was not an issue - until I was woken TWICE by someone banging on the door downstairs and then screaming in the building. I got scared. On the third night things got much worse - we couldn’t sleep for the WHOLE NIGHT. There was a huge party in front of our room and balcony with dj shouting. I asked the hotel crew gently to lower the volume - at 21:50. They just told me it is a student party and they „will see what they can do, but it won’t take long”. They did not reduce the volume at all desipite asking them multiple times. They were just lying that it will be over soon and they will „try to talk to the dj to see what we can do”. At 4 am it felt in our room like in the middle of a club. We couldn’t sleep for the whole night despite noise cancelling headphones with music and earplugs. It is not a hotel. It is a party place with additional beds. Staff feels surprised when there are even any guests. Never stay there unless you study in a Kirinyaga University nearby.

Superb
Pros:

Spacious and comfortable room. Very nice balcony. Wifi was ok.

Cons:

The was no lounge set on the balcony.
The bathroom had a leaking shower stall.
The rwception seemed to be a bit confused and they forgot to tell us you have to order for breakfast, even when included.
Netflix was not connected on the tv. It just did not work.
