Not really value for money
Pros:

Location right next to the mall.

Cons:

The swimming pool was under renovation and it wasn’t clearly stated when we booked. We swim every morning so that was a big let down. Also the air conditioning was centrally adjusted around midnight to early morning making it uncomfortable and woke us up most nights.
Also unhappy with extra charges on checking out. Will book with Expedia in the future as their rate is inclusive no nasty surprises.

Great...but...

Great staff!
There was a chef who was amazing at making scrambled eggs. Sounds simple but this man had it Gordon Ramsey good everyday. Amazing job to the chef in the Peridot Lounge.

Cons:

The lack of air-conditioning in the lift and the hall way was quite uncomfortable. Going from a nice 20oC room to a 36oC hallway and a stuffy lift is very uncomfortable.
What was worse though was the bed. My gosh was it bad. I developed knee pain over the period of my stay because the bed was so hard. It seems a very typical of south east asia, but please be aware that the bed is not really suitable for people who are frail, have disabilities and can cause extremely pain and discomfort.
Also the air con does not work well in the suite.
We wanted to have it around 19oC but could not get it below 20oC, further, we found that if we close the doors at night to sleep, the air does not circulate! The lounge outside our bedroom was nice and cool along with the bathroom, but the bedroom was so stuffy! We tried all sorts of ways to keep the air con running, but it seems to only work properly when the doors are open.
Finally the lights are not well labled so we could not find on the first night how turn off all the lights, as a result I could not sleep well and my wife had to take a sleeping pill.

The hotel was superb and excellent. It was my first time staying here, after hearing good feedback from my family. The location is perfect, directly connected to 1 Utama Shopping Mall, which made everything very convenient.

The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was slightly warm at the beginning, but once I informed the staff, they were very helpful and quickly resolved the issue.

Room service food was excellent—especially the rack of lamb—and even the supper was great. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
