Unelmaloma paratiisissa
Pros:

Jos etsit paratiisia ja rauhaa, Khao Lakin pohjois puolella sijaitseva niemen kärki on sinulle kohde. En olisi voinut unelmoida täydellisempää lomaa maaliskuun ajanjaksona, jonka saimme viettää upeassa Grand Mercure hotellissa.
Isoin positiivinen asia oli ehdottomasti hotellin henkilökunta. Heidän toiminta oli hyvin korkealaatuista ja ystävällistä. Kohtele henkilökuntaa kunnioituksella, sillä he todella ovat valmiita tekemään kaikkensa sinun eteen yöpyessäsi siellä. Haluan erityisesti nostaa esiin ravintolasta Green Mango työntekijän Yo, sekä Spa puolelta Daon. Kiitos myös ammattitaitoisille vastaanoton työntekijöille. Aamupala hotellissa on 10/10. Sijainti rantaan ja lähellä oleviin palveluihin hyvä.

Magnifique hôtel pour se ressourcer en famille
Pros:

L’hôtel est superbe, chambre et literie parfaites, tout est pensé pour le confort. Et la plage est très belle, authentique et calme
Découverte de Khao Sok a proximité magnifique

Cons:

Seul bémol mais pas inhérente à l’hôtel, les alentours pas exceptionnels.

Leider gab es viele Quallen sodass ein längeres Baden schmerzhaft werden konnte. Sind aber an die tollen Nachbarstrände Coconut und memories ausgewichen.

Beautiful resort with great service and an amazing beach
Pros:

Beautifully landscaped and very well maintained resort with a calm, polished, tropical Thai feel throughout. Service was consistently excellent — everyone was warm, smiling, and genuinely helpful, and the check-in and out experiences were smooth.

We arranged a driver through the hotel from Kata and also used their airport transfer, both of which were fairly priced, punctual, and well organized.

We stayed in a Deluxe King room as a family of four (with a 9- and 13-year-old), and it was enough space for us. The room was nicely decorated with high-end finishes in a tropical yet sophisticated style, and the large balcony was a great feature. Beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the extra bed provided at no additional charge.

The main pool area is well maintained with comfortable loungers. A highlight is the raised platform with built-in seating in the pool, which is great for relaxing or reading. The daily water aerobics (11:00–11:30) was a fun touch and well attended.

The beach is excellent — soft sand, clean, and with warm, clear water. There are also great local restaurants along the beach, and Rawa Massage is literally just steps away.

Breakfast has a good range, especially the Thai options, and the long window (6:30–11) is very convenient.

The resort is spread out, but the free buggy service is quick and reliable (usually within ~5 minutes). Happy hour at the pool (12–1 and 4–6) with 50% off drinks was also a nice perk.

Cons:

The bathroom layout lacks privacy — the shower and toilet have clear glass doors with no locks, which makes it difficult when sharing the room.

The main pool can feel slightly small for a resort of this size and is consistently busy, with loungers a bit tight. There was also some buildup around the pool edges, which got onto my swimsuit.

The breakfast area can feel crowded, and the carb items (pastries, waffles) were more average, sometimes cold or a bit dry. Some buffet setup details (like serveware and how items such as butter were presented) could be improved.

The resort requires quite a bit of walking, which may be a consideration for some guests, although the free buggy service helps if you want to use it.

A really calm and relaxing stay, in a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and good food
Pros:

The hotel is very attractive and well looked after. It feels like an oasis of calm in Bangsak beach. The breakfast was very good, with a large choice and was open until 11am allowing a bit of a lie in. Having a room with a pool was really the icing on the cake.

Cons:

There is a limited number of sun beds around the main swimming pool. It was difficult to get one later in the day, although there was always plenty on the beach.

Loved it!
Pros:

It was absolutely beautiful, everyone was very friendly. The room was very spacious (we book one with pool access, which was nice but we did not use it too much. The kids preferred the main pool.) the breakfast was amazing, everything one could wish for.

Cons:

Obviously the prices are more expensive than outside of the hotel. We mainly had lunch and dinner at the nearby restaurants on the beach, which we enjoyed a lot to also have some variety!

Pozor na kauci@
Pros:

Udržovaný hotelový komplex, pokoje prostorné a čisté. Velký výběr při snídani.

Cons:

Ve snídaňové restauraci byl nedostatečný prostor pro takové množství hostů. Na pláži ten samý problém s lehátky, které jsou natěsnané na sebe, což není vůbec příjemné.
A dejte si velký pozor na kauci, kterou po vás při příjezdu budou vyžadovat. Chtějí 1000 BHT/den na vaši případnou konzumaci. Na můj dotaz, zda kauci obdržíme při odjezdu okamžitě zpět na kartu, nás při příjezdu ujistili, že ano, a při odjezdu nám řekli, že to bude trvat 4-6 týdnů! Toto je naprosto nepřijatelné.

Hôtel un peu éloigné du centre de Khao Lak (20 min environ en taxi)
