Pros:

Excellent facilities in a very handy area with free road parking just round the corner. Convenience store opposite several fast food outlets in the area.
Range of buses if required. Large shopping centre in walking distance.

Cons:

Shortage of loo paper!

The landlord（Mr Finlay) is a really friendly and talkative handsome guy. You can have a great chat with him about lots of interesting things. The room is comfortable and well - equipped. If you want to have a happy and relaxing holiday, this place is an excellent choice.😊🤝

Herzlich, angenehm, gute Lage und ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft, die man sich mit dem Gastgeber teilt, war sehr gepflegt und angenehm. Es ist nicht viel Platz, aber der vorhandene wurde gut genutzt. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Finlay war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns da rundherum wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist auch gut und die Fenster gut schalldämmend. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist gegenüber, Bushaltestellen direkt vor der Tür und 15 Minuten spazieren und man hat ein Einkaufszentrum erreicht. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war sehr schön.

Cons:

Die Betten sind normale 90cm Betten und relativ kurz. Lange Personen mit mehr als 185 cm können sich nicht lang machen. Grundsätzlich aber sehr saubere und bequeme Betten, in denen man gut schlafen konnte.

Pros:

The location was prefect for exploring Edinburgh particularly as the bus stops into the city centre are right near the accommodation. The spare rooms do share a bathroom with the host, as noted by the description, but we were also able to use the kitchen which was much appreciated. The key pickup process was very easy.

La temperatura dell'acqua della doccia diventa subito calda, riscaldamento buono, cucina pulita e sufficientemente attrezzata

Dalla descrizione non si capisce chiaramente che il bagno è condiviso col proprietario, le chiavi devono essere ritirate in una 'lavanderia' con orari di check in rigidi (15/19) e non vicinissima all'appartamento, i tempi di risposta lunghi ai messaggi con richiesta di chiarimenti, il comportamento non amichevole del proprietario nonostante noi siamo state educate, la mancanza di istruzioni scritte a proposito di che cosa potessimo utilizzare in cucina, l'arredo non curato delle camere, il posizionamento del tavolo in corridoio per cui se uno deve passare chi sta seduto si deve alzare, la mancanza di specchio in camera, il giardino trascurato con erba alta, le dimensioni piccole del bagno e la presenza di pochi ganci

Clean and centrally located flat, but be aware that host is sharing flat and bathroom with you
Pros:

The flat is located pretty close to the center with a bus stop right in front of the flat taking you directly to the old an new town. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked well equipped and large, plus there was a great Thai place across the street for an easy dinner. The rooms were small but clean and Finlay was a friendly host. The room in the back is quiet and leads directly to their backyard.

Cons:

It wasn't super clear when booking that the host would be staying in the flat in a third room and also that you're sharing a bathroom with him. Furthermore, the communication over booking.com messages prior to arriving regarding key collection and follow-up questions was a little confusing.
