Good central location for large group get togethers

After visiting this hotel a number of times it has always been noted that there is a pungent sewerage smell outside the main entrance. Would suggest that this is checked and a sealed manhole is installed!
room was fine but considering the amount paid for this room there was no view apart from the back of another hotel.
food menu is seriously lacking for vegetarians who do not eat meat or fish. that said breakfast was nice with vegetarian options available.
disappointingly residents bar is no longer open which used to be the difference between this and other hotels
some staff were not very attentative which emphasised the difference between the good and poor staff.

Staff service was poor. Refused to provide invoice form. Speak to other caucasian nicely but not non-caucasian. Likewise, similar to the staff attending at the breakfast area. She was not polite when she asked for the room number possibly due to the fact that i didnt give her my room number early on at the door, because she wasnt at the door.

Very enjoyable
Pros:

Reception staff very helpful.

Cons:

Confused on which bar i could go in and which i could not. I was told by the staff i could go in the front facing first floor bar at about 8pm. Once i stood at the bar i was told by one of the guests it was a private party and i must leave. Rather embarrassing as you can image.
