Pros:

Clean, light filled big room. Very comfortable beds. Nice wee pool area out the back. Also an excellent cafe. Staff were adorable, from fast easy check in, to booking speedboat tickets and arranging taxis.

Comfortable and Clean
Pros:

Streamlined and clean. Lovely staff, lovely hotel.

Cons:

Air con on balcony meant if you sat out there the heat blew into you. Waste of space as no one can sit outside (which we like to do) of an evening.

Gute, verlässliche Option mit Pool in Ranong
Pros:

Das Galla Hotel in Ranong ist ein ziemlich typisches Hotel, es liegt nicht ganz zentral in der Stadt, aber doch so, dass man leicht überall hinkommt. Auch ist Ranong zwar relativ weitläufig, aber bei Weitem keine große Stadt, und mit Tuktuks geht alles schnell. Das Hotel hat einen Pool, der relativ bequem und groß ist, auch für Kinder super geeignet und zumindest bei unserem Besuch nicht stark frequentiert. Zudem bietet es ein Restaurant (koreanisch), das ziemlich gut war, aber nicht ganz billig (im Vergleich). Das Frühstück haben wir nicht probiert.

Cons:

An dem Hotel gibt es wenig auszusetzen, man bekommt geboten, was man erwartet. Es ist sauber, ausreichend komfortabel, und insgesamt eine gute Option in der Stadt. Vielleicht kann man sagen, dass es "westlich" geprägt ist, eine authentisch-thailändische Erfahrung bietet es nicht (oder gerade eben schon, weil Thailand einfach ein Tourismusland (geworden) ist).

Nice modern hotel, just felt a little stark
Pros:

It is a smart modern hotel with good facilities, including lifts,swimming pool and on-site restaurant serving drinks as well as Korean and Thai food. Also suggest eating at the excellent Café and Friends nearby.The staff were very helpful and were able to provide a paid for shuttle service to the pier to get to Ko Phayam and the airport in time to get to the two daily flights to Bangkok.

Cons:

The location of the hotel was a little away from most of the facilities. It was also a little stark with no greenery surrounding it. That was a minimal balcony with space for one chair and the heat exchanger and therefore was unusable other than for drying clothes on the rack provided.
