Fantastic - will be my new default choice when visiting Hanoi
Pros:

Fantastic location (slightly hidden away though above circle k), the lake view suite I had was fantastic. spacious, very nice interior and design, small balcony with direct lake views where you could sit and just watch and enjoy the hustle and bustle.
The breakfast was also very nice. Again, great views from the restaurant down to the lake and the breakfast itself was plenty and very tasty (really enjoyed the à la carte style instead of the usual buffet).
Staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Having a convenience store in the same building is a plus as well!

Will definitely stay here again should I come back to Hanoi.

Cons:

Room (I was in 302) is relatively noise (outside noise) but the staff pointed that out during check in and they do proactively provide you with earplugs.
Given the location this was not a surprise to me and I generally didn’t have any issues with this. I guess the higher floor your room is the less noisy it would be but even for me on the third floor (which is the bottom floor of the actual hotel) it was not really a problem.

Cons:

The hotel is on the upper floor above the convenience store and no elevator. It's a bit noisy at night and early morning.

Very cute place, amazing views over the lake on the top floor at breakfast. Had a great balcony with bar area which was great to sit up late watching the city with some drinks.Thor was an amazing host, so much amazing food at breakfast! Great stay and very central☺️

Beautiful, fun hotel with incredibly kind and welcoming service. If you’re considering booking, do it :)
Pros:

La Belle Maison is in such a great location with beautiful views over the lake. The entrance through the Circle K is so unique and fun, also very convenient. The rooms are so unique and with beautiful furnishings and very comfortable beds. Though located in the heart of the city, it was not as noisy as expected and they provide earplugs in case they’re needed, I did not need them.
There is also a great rooftop patio that has incredible views over the whole city with a nice breeze to get a break from the Hanoi heat.
Aside from the beauty of the hotel, the service was incredible. Thor was so accommodating with recommendations and assistance with any need we had throughout our stay, he made us a reservation at an incredible restaurant and also booked us a ride to our next location.

Cons:

We lived averaging about our stay! Can’t think of anything negative to say, it was perfect.

Nice but uncomfortable bed :(
Pros:

The staff are all absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful and really accommodating to our questions and requests.
The location is very good, right by the lake in the old quarter quarter within walking distance to many of the things we wanted to do.
The breakfast was plentiful and pretty good.

Cons:

The bed was so firm that for my husband and I it was actually uncomfortable, we did request an extra duvet to lie on to cushion it, but still both had achey shoulders/backs…we’re 35 not 85 ha.
The toilet/shower cubicles in the room are pretty basic and more aligned with a hostel or budget hotel, they sort of drag the room down- I understand why they’re not really pictured in the photos of the rooms.
It wasn’t too hard to find the hotel, but you enter through a circle K, which whilst we didn’t mind this, doesn’t really give the upmarket hotel vibe.

Pros:

The staff were so kind and went out of their way to be helpful. We had a late check in and also early check out and they accommodated these no problem. Our breakfast was unbelievable! Overlooking the lake, a huge amount of delicious food. They even packed us a to go breakfast for our early check out.

Next time we're in Hanoi we'll be staying at La Belle Maison.
Pros:

The location was very handy and we had a great view of the lake. The staff were always very friendly and helpful and made us fee very welcome.

We wish the roof terrace bar had been open.

Amazing location, exceptional service, and friendly staff.
Pros:

Prime location to view the lake. The service and staff were excellent. They accommodated us with our luggage, served us fresh fruits and drinks upon arrival, and very friendly.

Cons:

The hotel was located on top of a convenience store, it was confusing to find. No lift, but this isn’t a problem as the staff will assist with carrying your lunges upstairs.
