Great value for money
The staff were friendly & so accommodating to our party’s requirements breakfast were amazing Nice one to all the chefs 👌. Location was perfect with lovely sea view over to North hill & Harbour , will definitely stay again.
Bed & mattress not the best also tile grouting in bathroom need attention etc

Stairs to the room. A suggestion would be to list breakfast options on main breakfast as first morning we had things we didn't want. To offer fruit and yogurts. Slight leak on shower.

Bar closed at 8. Parking is very limited at the Hotel with only around 8 spaces but there is a public pay and display car park next door

Close to beach/ shops. Comfortable bed lovely bathroom. On our 2nd morning staff were a lot more attentive at breakfast

Staff at breakfast on our first morning were not very helpful, absolutely no customer care skills, walk past us when we were sat at table & didn't acknowledge us, we had to draw their attention to us
sehr gute Lage zum Strand und zur Innenstadt - Parkplätze includiert, allerdings nur 8 für das gesamte Hotel und nicht abgesperrt für Fremdnutzer, was ein Glücksspiel ist, aber ab 18.00 Uhr bis 9.00 Uhr ist der Bahnhofsparkplatz (100 m) kostenlos, Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet, aber zusätzliche Auswahl am Buffet nicht üppig (eigentlich nur Müsli, etc.)
siehe Parkplätze bei positiv (=Glücksspiel), Zimmer nicht klimatisiert, es gab auf Nachfrage einen Ventilator, Bad klein und die getrennten Wasserhähne am Waschbecken sind ein Witz (Nutzung durch Einbausituation kaum möglich, da sollte man mal über eine Mischbatterie am Waschbecken nachdenken), Teppichboden schon mit Gebrauchsspuren
Ich hatte zwei Zimmer gebucht, eine Suite, die neu und wirklich sehr schön war und ein Doppelzimmer.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut.
Das Bad im Doppelzimmer war nicht sehr sauber, den Vorleger (Handtuch) ließen wir tauschen, die Duschmatte haben wir nicht benutzt und der Duschvorhang hatte große Flecken.
Leider schließt das Hotel (die Bar und das Restaurant) bereits um 20 Uhr.

For a 4 star hotel i thought it was a bit shabby and dated i did have a standard double and would take a guess that the hotel is a grade 1 listed but the location and staff were wonderful thankyou

Great location, had a room that overlooked the sea front, very pleasant and helpful staff, breakfast was great, plenty of variety. Bed was comfy and the room was spacious
Had to keep moving bedside unit to plug in hair dryer so as to be able to see in mirror, either mirrors need moving or an extra socket near mirror.
The cooked breakfasts were very good - very efficient., substantial and tasty, with a good number of options The position of the hotel was great - handy for the beach and for the town. Nice relaxed atmosphere & this was our second stay here
Limited non-cooked options for breakfast - a few sugary cereals, sugary yoghurts & croissants but nothing very healthy. Would have been nice to have had some fruit and maybe some muesli. The 'deluxe' room (Helwell Bay) was disappointing, not particularly large and the mattress was uncomfortable with the springs easily felt through.
