Very Clean. Excellent Location and the owners were very friendly and extremely helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time there.
Shiva and his family were so very nice and went well out of their way to help us with any request.
We arrived a little unsure about where to eat and he took us to a restaurant and must have waited nearby because when we called him he was there in a couple of minutes.
My family has trouble with Indian cuisine and the children won't eat anything but fried rice and noodles.
However Shiva and the family did try to accommodate us. I can eat anything and the breakfasts were really good. Mango smoothies are the right way to start the day and they were the best we had in India.
My family is mad about green mangoes and when they saw the mango tree completely loaded, they went nuts and ate about 6 of them in an afternoon.
Shiva's father took us out on the river and the lake on his shikara which was really fun for everyone. The kids played their favourite songs on the onboard speaker singing and dancing while cruising the backwaters.
The house is located on the north side of the island where it is quiet and with the bicycles that were provided for us we were able to jaunt around everywhere.
The rooms are private,immaculate and very comfortable with strong a/c to beat the intense heat and humidity in the middle of the day.
The people of Kerala and Munroe Island in particular are some of the most friendly and kind we have ever encountered anywhere, and this family is super sweet.

We were very well looked after by Shiva and his wife Malu in their clean and comfortable home stay. Breakfast was very good and we paid a small amount extra for excellent evening meals both nights of our stay. Shiva also organised a 2 hour boat trip on the lake with his father which was very enjoyable.

We had a lovely stay at The Pearl Munro, which was one of the nicest homestays we visited during our two weeks in Kerala. Siva and his wife were very welcoming, everything was neat and tidy, and it was easy to arrange a sunrise canoe (highly recommended!), evening kayak, and bicycles we could borrow to visit the island. The host was also helpful to arrange train tickets and taxis when we needed them. The breakfast and dinner was delicious too! Thank you

The homestay was quiet, comfortable and clean. The property was beautiful as well. Our hosts were welcoming and caring. My husband was unwell and they were so supportive with nutritious food/snacks, offering to assist with access to medical care, and a ride to appt. They booked train tickets for us and even got us to the train in a neighbouring town when our train was cancelled. They had great options for exploring the backwaters, unfortunately we were only able to do the shikara boat but that was great!
We are so grateful to have chosen this homestay.

Very helpful hosts. The meals were very good. Nice location close to the river.

The peaceful environment and natural surroundings make it an excellent spot for relaxation. The food was very delicious, a typical homemade food.

The homestay is approx.5o meter away from the Lake, making it a stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset.
