Tiny room but great location
Pros:

The location of the hotel is super convenient: I had appointments all over the city and multiple subway lines can be accessed from the hotel. I also liked having options for picking up grocery items and lots of food options within reach. Staff were very friendly and they even booked me a cab which ended up costing less than an uber. The bathroom was nicely renovated and clean.

Cons:

September is an expensive time to be in the city so there were not many options for rooms so the Mayfair ended up being less expensive than some. However, considering I paid over 350 a night, my room was so tiny--no closet, no coffee maker, and no nightstand to place a water bottle or other things. Also only one light in the room, please consider adding a light by the bed.

Nice boutique hotel in walking distance to several attractions
Pros:

Liked the location - walkability to Rockefeller Center, Times Square and Penn Station. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean.

Cons:

The room was very small and no good view of the City as the website appeared to show. It was located right on 49th St next to the Theater. It was very noisy from that Theater and ongoing street construction. Had we known, we would have booked a room in the middle or other side of the hotel. It would have been nice to have complimentary breakfast.

Pros:

Location was perfect. Near Time square and in a good point to reach other destinations walking or by metro. The room was quiet and you could sleep without any problem

Great location and friendly staff
Pros:

Great location, just off Times Square but was so quiet (i had a street facing room) that it wasn't an issue. Staff were really helpful and i was able to leave my bags on check in day (i arrived early) and also on checkout day.

Cons:

The bathroom needed a shelf to put toiletries on there wasn't a lot of space to put all my bottles on.

Really made our a trip to New York memorable, would stay here again!!
Pros:

This was a little gem! I originally had booked another hotel but found this one and decided to change. It was also $300 cheaper as well! It was in the heart of Broadway, next door to Eugene O’Neill Theatre, so very good when we needed to see Book Of Mormon! Walking distance to Times Square, and also subway services as well. Very convenient! The bathroom was very spacious as well! Air conditioner was a blessing in the heat!

Cons:

The room was a little small, but I did know going into it. It didn’t really bother us though!!
