Worst property of KSDTC.
Pros:

The rooms superb, location peaceful, staff very helpful BUT WORST service. Biggest problem DONT GO IF U R Vegetarian & mainly north indian food. Chef non co-operative. Food quality very bad, food stinks like dog meat. After requesting chef for simple veg soup he will say YES and after 1 hour when re-asked he will reply sorry vegetable out of stock at 7 pm and latter at 8 pm same night latter veg korma is served. It's a big blunder of the kitchen in charge. There are many many problems. WE AS GUEST GO and STAY WITH FAMILY ON TRUST AS ITS Govt. Of KARNATAKA but it's a big blunder. Waste of our holiday, our money. non sense kitchen chef and kitchen in charge. In any emergency if needed since it's very cold, no facility and no one will come to help if needed after 10 pm at night. I had very very bad experience. I am writting a official letter to Mr. Kiran Kumar GM and KSDTC @ head office with complete 2 day Bad experience. We were supposed to stay for 5 days as we travelled all over the way from Mumbai.

Earlier we have stayed in Many mayura KSTDC hotels, never had problem. The staff is just non sense, kitchen in charge don't care for guest. I have also received other guest who stayed there with me and they too have given there bad review directly on staff face. They were from Bangalore and few from Madurai too.
Hence, I hope Govt of Karnataka should take steps against kitchen people and others who are spoiling MAYURA ROYAL HERITAGE, OOTY image.

Lastly. I stayed in Royal Heritage and not in sudarshan as Royal Heritage is expensive and good quality BUT waste of money and spoiled our complete ooty tour.

Still this is bad quality.

They don't give you milk powder in room only tea and sugar.

Entire staff have just 1 reply.....this property is new just 7 months so we are not trained. So this is how staff show quality of KSTDC even after 7 months.

Sounds weird.

Family stay for 2Nights at Ooty
Pros:

1. The site was mainataned very well.
2. Bob-fire was lit up on Saturday night.
3. Taste of the food in the restaurant was good.
4. The staff were very cordial.

Cons:

1. Need to have egg/fruit in breakfast either as complementary or as paid.
2. Need to have items available for order in restaurant as listed on Menu card.
3. Need to provide milk powder packs in room along with coffee sachets as not everyone may like to have black tea at room which was provided in sachets.
4. Remote control of AC needs to be provided in rooms and it should be able to control the AC function.

Breakfast was good. Need to add eggs in the menu.
The food quality was good.
The location of the hotel was also good.
The staff were helpful & courteous / well mannered.

Cons:

Need to have room service which is the crux of the hotel.
You need to have 24/7 room service & more staff.
some activities planned for the customers which will attract more families to come to your premises.
