ChengDu Wuhou Temple Han Dynasty Hotel

Our stay at this hotel was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt exceptional. The atmosphere is absolutely unique — staying here feels more like spending the night in a beautifully curated museum than in a typical hotel. Every detail reflects history, elegance, and character.

The restaurant was outstanding. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was attentive and professional. Dining there was one of the highlights of our stay.

The only aspect that didn’t quite match the rest of the experience was the bathroom. While functional, it clearly needs renovation to meet the same high standard as the rest of the property.

Overall, everything else was excellent, and we would gladly return. With a refreshed bathroom, this place would be close to perfect.

Esta genial, buffet bueno, todos los días lo mismo evidentemente. A las 19:00 te dejan en la habitación un platito con fruta, aperitivos y galletas. Desde las 20:00 hasta las 23:59 en el hall puedes comer arroz caldoso con lo que yo creo que es tronquitos de bambu y picante, todas las veces que queiras. Puedes lavar la ropa con la lavadora y secadora que tienen gratuitamente (tienen jabones también) te ponen todas las mañanas al hacer la habitación dos botellas de agua y dos bolsitas de te (diariamente) los gastes o no.

Si usas el cepillo de dientes que tienen desechable te ponen otro, lo mismo con la maquinilla de afeitar, tienen jabón para manos , para pelo y para cuerpo en el baño, no hace falta que lleves de nada, solo tu ropa.

Apenas hablan ingles o no hablan, pero tienen una tables en el mostrador que te va traduciendo lo que te dice el recepcionista y lo mismo al reves, solo tienes que hablar al microfono en ingles.

A acomodação é muito legal, tipicamente chinesa. Oferece uma experiência única. Gostamos muito do nosso quarto em frente ao terraço - muito espaçoso e limpo. Decoração bem tradicional e interessante. Funcionários atenciosos, café da manhã gostoso, super bem localizado. Muitos restaurantes, lojas e conveniência perto. Como nosso trem seria mais tarde, nos permitiram um late check-out que ajudou muito. Gostamos demais!

Beautiful and interesting traditional Chinese architecture

It's a gem of a hotel. Right next to one of the best sights in Chengdu. Every detail is beautiful, thought through, interesting. Beds look like they're from a museum, but they're comfortable. Breakfast is abundant.

Very authentic place. Bed is pretty used, but very comfy and looks cool. Stuff is lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was always thr same, but tasty and authentic, also enough for vegetarians. Hotel itself looks like an old mansion with very traditional decoration.

An incredible stay for our time in Chengdu. Breakfast was included and was so delicious—noodles, buns, etc. Also the room and the bed were interesting as they told some historical details about it so it felt like we were staying in a part of history! Friendly helpful staff too and the price was incredible for what we got. Free laundry too !
