Mooie kamer in het oude gedeelte van het hotel sfeervol ingericht.
Manager van het hotel negeerde ons compleet. Bij het ontbijt besteedde hij veel aandacht aan vooral Engelse gasten bij het ontbijt. Hele verhalen van hoe gaat het; goed geslapen; wat gaan jullie doen; delen van leuke tips etc. Telkens als wij iets wilde bestellen moesten we er om vragen en best wel lang wachten. Geen één keer heeft hij de moeite genomen om ons iets te vragen!!Bij het uitchecken (ook door de manager) werd ook niks gevraagd; hoe was jullie verblijf? wat zijn jullie plannen? ook geen goede reis gewenst. Ronduit onbeschoft. Stuur die man op een cursus communiceren met klanten.
Normaliter verblijven wij in The Belmont, prachtige kamers met een super service. Wij reizen ontzettend veel maar dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt.
we didn't stay here as there was an overbooking! they tried to get us to stay one night and the other night in their sister hotel, which was a lower grade. We weren't interested in that and went to another hotel

Location was excellent for us and the children room was lovely. The room my husband an I shared upstairs was lovely. Food was great too.
Our room was situation upstairs close to the coffee machine. We were woken both mornings to the sound of music being played. Sound travels to that bedroom and twice I had to ask for it to be turned down. That was annoying when you have come to relax and sleep in. The floor in one area had a hair and dust. It could have been more thoroughly cleaned.
The staff were outstanding, the room was spacious and clean, and nicely appointed. Breakfast was excellent.
This is terribly subjective, but we felt our room was somewhat lacking in charm. The rooms in the old part of the property are perhaps more charming , but we swopped to a room in the newer section because the room we were initially allocated in the original house was without outlook and felt enclosed and, to be honest, a bit contrived.

Our room was right by reception and noisy. It felt like an extra back room instead of a 5stat establishment room.
The aircon started leaking late afternoon and the staff offered a bucket. The dripping through the night was awful.
I specifically booked a living journey establishment due to my amazing experience in Robertson, but this has left me very disappointed.

Não havia frigobar no quarto, quando reservei não me atentei a esse detalhe.
A falta de suco de laranja e de água (mesmo para comprar), mas como fiquei só uma diária, não foi um grande incômodo, mas deve ter sido algo muito pontual, porque não me parece que um hotel tão bem cuidado tenha isso com frequência.
A minha cama (o box) rangia ao ao sentar na ponta. Não era do colchão. Só detalhes, não incomodou para dormir.
