Lift to the room I was in (r19)
Communication prior to arrival. (only 24 hours from booking to arrival) Perfect.

Beach, 15 minute walk from the accomodation.
Station next door with northern rail access to the rest of the area if you want to leave your car at the free car park onsite.
(trains don't run overnight so sleep wasn't disrupted).
Local shop and 2 pubs, 5 minute walk up the hill into the town.
Western Wainwright's easily accessible from St Bees.
Perfect place. Relaxed from the moment I arrived.
Had to turn off all the heating. It was too warm. But that was easily corrected.
Didn't want to bring my boots in as it was a very clean place. As it's in an outdoorsy area, maybe a simple tray (or shoe shelf) under a radiator would work for this.
But these are tiny negatives.
This was genuinely one of the best places I have ever stayed, the accommodation was perfect and the location was amazing, I highly recommend.

The flat was beautifully presented, very big for what I had paid, wonderful views and location - if the issue I had was fixed I would definitely return/ recommend
During my stay a contractor came in to fix the fire alarms (not an issue in and of itself, I understand maintaining needs to be carried out occasionally) but I was not notified that they would be coming during my stay. So I arrived back from a walk to find that someone had been in the flat (lights left on, doors open that I had closed) which was obviously distressing. I would have contacted the owner directly but the contractor came back (knocked once and didn’t wait for an answer before letting himself in) so I had got my answer as to what had gone on. I really feel that it should have been communicated to me that someone would be entering my private space, all of my personal belongings were out and the whole situation made me feel uncomfortable.
Clean, light,spacious and modern

Almost everything. The room size was fab. The facilities were extraordinary. Cleanliness very good. Bed was super comfy with lovely bed linen. Amazing shower, always hot water. It was extremely quiet & peaceful. To have tea/coffee/bread/butters/milk provided was a real bonus.

The lift was more than brilliant.
Being rather infirm I found the deep top step to the front door very tricky with no handrail.
After a 10hr journey the key box was very difficult to access. This was because of its position & poor lighting. Trying to hold my camera torch & key in the numbers was a nightmare ! It was worth it though.
Very nocie, cozy new accommodation in a perfect location! Great communication.

Top spec' boutique style accommodation. Highly recommend.
I was supposed to get the key from a locked box but the key was missing from the box so I had to ring the host. He told me to use the lock box at the side entrance. Fortunately for me the side entrance key was in the box.
It might be an idea to check the locked boxes on a regular basis to ensure the front door keys are inside. If I had not been able to contact the host on my arrival I would have been completely stranded in an unfamiliar place.
I didn't like the fact that a maid/cleaner came into my apartment unannounced and started wittering on about laundry?! I had to tell her she was in the wrong flat. But is was a scary moment with implications for safety and security, as I was on my own.
The kitchen area need better lighting.
The apartment was really lovely, very clean and spacious with great views across towards the sea. The location was excellent for us as we were visiting family in St Bees. The facilities were great with a well equipped kitchen and a clean, roomy bathroom as well as an ensuite in one of the bedrooms. Lewis was a helpful and responsive host.
