There is need to improve the bed to be a bit modern.

The dinner meals weren't very good.
Reasonable price, restaurant was open late in evening, and all the staff were amazing. The location allowed easy travel to conference location by walking.
The plumbing in the bath room had leaking issues from toilet and shower door in one room. The shower door in the second room leaked also. No window screens so the windows let in mosquitoes and could not be left open.
Great location- safe area and plenty of public and taxi transport with the CBD only about 20-30 min away depending on the time of day. Staff were great and the rooms, though basic were adequate. Loved the quiet. Plently of hot water and an extra blanket if one gets cold.
Breakfast ends at 8.30am! The food is fresh but in a country with so much fruit it was disappointing to have no variety at all- watermelon slices on one day and a banana on another. Had lunch once and the food was extremely bland and overpriced. The kettles in the room have such short cords and the sockets are high up on the wall that you have to suspend them in the air to boil or hold it until the water boils. Bathroom tiles need a good scrub. There is beverage (tea & coffee satchets) but no sugar provided.

Need some good lighting in the rooms in case one wants to do some work
Staff are friendly. It's always good to stay at ACK. It's peaceful and nice. I like the proximity to Nairobi Central Business District, and easy access to the airport. Value for money.
Room Furniture could do better.
The room old needing repairs with water leaking in sinks bathroom etc. location is excellent and staff courteous.

I stayed in the 5th floor of G building, and did not have hot water at all.

The fact that i was over billed by mistake. They didnt communicate that I should have signed in or checked in at 10am. Hence I was billed extra. That was the only downside. But everything else was excellent.
