Loved our stay at wanamal lake front yala and would highly recommend. The facilities were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent in our room. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating and organized a safari tour for us. We had an amazing and filling breakfast included with our room.

The rooms were thoroughly clean. The air conditioner worked effectively. The loo was also clean. There was no noise from the folks nearby. The food and beverages at the restaurant were also excellent. This hotel is the nearest to Yala Safari.

Wonderful stay in beautiful location with attentive and friendly staff.
Pros:

We had an excellent stay at Wanamal Lake Front. The location is so beautiful, and our room had an amazing view of the lake and wider surroundings. We even saw monkeys in the distance whilst the sun was setting when we were having dinner. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and hospitable. They cooked us some great Sri Lankan food for dinner and also a lovely breakfast. Perfect location at very reasonable price for those looking to stay near Yala National Park / safari.

it turned out to be a bit far from the Yala entrance. Also, might be better to book a safari separately with an experienced driver

Wanamal Lake Front Hotel situated in a prime location facing to Yodha wewa. It would be better if you could do more landscaping, increasing the overlook of the hotel and nature. Your restaurant should not be disturbed to the lake view.
