Breakfast was typical Filipino. There were slight variations in the menu each day.
More options for drinks and food would have been great.
The location was great, so close to the beach and walking distance to anything needed. Breakfast on day two was great (More suited to my western tastes).
Breakfast on day one was not very varies. lots of seafood and no options for western tastes. Checkout was very long, there was a queue and only one staff member to process - when requested if more staff could come to help the 'supervisor' didn't like this suggestion. eventually we were seen and then told we needed to wait while the room was 'checked' unsure if this is a normal thing in the phillipines but i didn't like the insinuation we would steal or break anything without reporting it.
The location is great and nearby the town square
- We had no wifi at the hotel for 3 out of the 4 days we were there. No compensation offered or alternative options offered by staff.
- The tv did not work without wifi.
- We had ants in our room.
- the staff could not give us 2 keys per room because they ran out of keys.
- the swimming pool had a bad smell
The shower cabin had probably not been cleaned for several months. The towels had holes and were stained. The reception said that the bed was changed every day, but in practice it turned out that it was simply turned over on the other side. To change the bed, you need to go up and ask the reception about it, then they will do it. The staff is friendly, the room is nice, but the room is very dirty
It’s close to El Nido downtown where all the markets bars and stores/restaurants are which is the main area

The room we stayed is quite spacious
The room was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean. We got a room looking out over the ocean, with a tub looking out the window and a huge deck/patio area to enjoy the view as well. The room was large and comfortable. Easily walkable to stores and restaurants/bars. Breakfast buffet was only okay, but offered a quick easy breakfast prior to our tours.
The pool had a nice ambiance but was very cold.
Close to town centre, air conditioning worked really well.

Initially no towels supplied, when we did get them they looked very well worn not clean looking.
No fridge.
I don't think the bed linen was clean although I asked for them to change it on the second day and it was remade.
Very noisy in our room which faced the main road and the guests in the next room had the tv on all night! - rude...
Other guests at 3am in the morning talking very loud extremely inconsiderate.
