Castle and soroundings are beautiful reception and restaurant very nice.
The painting needs refreshing, the carpet is worn, some curtains are falling down, and some of the furniture is scratched and damaged. The TV was not working properly, and the bathroom needed more thorough cleaning, especially around the taps. The grout was also dirty and could use a proper deep clean.
For a 4-star hotel, especially in such a beautiful and impressive setting, I expected a much higher standard of maintenance and cleanliness. The scenery and potential are fantastic, but the rooms and facilities need more regular inspection, care and investment to match the 4-star rating.

Somewhat jaded now, and ideal if you like a bit of faded splendour. Sadly, the plumbing may need a serious upgrade; the usual water pressure issues in the shower.

We had a wonderful stay at Belleek Castle to celebrate our wedding anniversary, as well as my mother-in-law’s birthday, which made the visit particularly special for our family. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive, and genuinely helped make the occasion memorable. The food was excellent throughout our stay and the beautiful, historic surroundings of the castle created a lovely atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and felt very well looked after. It was a perfect setting for two important family celebrations and we left with some very happy memories.
There was honestly very little we could fault. Our experience was extremely positive from beginning to end, and the standard of service, food and hospitality exceeded our expectations. If anything, our only regret was that our stay wasn’t a little longer!
