Close to everything food transport and sights. In hose facilities were excellent. Hot water foot spa on rooftop was amazing.
We particularly enjoyed the rooftop bar’s complimentary drink per guest, breathtaking views, and relaxing foot bath— highly recommend after checking in. The public bath was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and offered great scenery, with the 1.2m depth making for a very pleasant soak. The free drinks and ice lollies afterward were a fantastic touch. The room is on the smaller side without a view, but this was not a significant issue
The hotel recommended parking was about a 15-minute walk from the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. It might be worth reviewing this and suggesting a more convenient parking option to guests in the future

Comfortable rooms and great facilities. Close to transport options.
Customer service was excellent, and although the room was small, the bed was comfy. I loved the complimentary amenities such as the tea, desserts and daily cocktail on the rooftop. The foot hot tub on the roof was also a bonus amenity I didn’t know I needed. They also have a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement
The hotel was a highlight of our entire Japan trip. The rooftop bar with the foot onsen was outstanding, the main onsen was superb, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were really helpful. Can’t fault it. The location was also perfect as near the various markets, best restaurants and the main temple

Hmmm, the staff was kind, i have been to Kyoto a lot and i knew this place would be very central which i wanted this time (usually i stay near marutamachi station), i wanted a place to rest for a bit without pressure in Kyoto and it was not bad but the room was a bit small and i had no view from my window. Overall, it was still very good value especially for the location. Bonus with the free drinks tickets but the timing wasn't always the best to take them.
Frankly there are no deal breakers, it's just small things here and there. For example, laundry. You pay 1,5x or 2x as much as in other hotels I've been, detergent is supposed to come automatically but i frankly doubt it does. It's slightly annoying when you wash your gym clothes.. Also, i kinda expected a little better for the onsen. The view is definitely impressive but the bath themselves are not really that crazy. But again, i have been to so many crazy places that my expectations are high when it comes to that.
Beautiful hotel but was surprised by how urban the surrounding area was. Window view from my sixth floor room looked out onto the roof of an apartment complex with clothes hanging out on the balconies to dry. Not the most appealing view but with the shades drawn I could pretend it wasn’t a big deal. Customer service was superb and the rooftop was great first thing in the morning as I had it all to myself on a crisp cool morning. There were no seats the first time I ventured up there. Was able to wash all my laundry in the basement and hang dry everything in my room. Complimentary coffee drinks on the ninth floor were nice too. I’d stay here again and would rate even higher if I had a nicer view.
Seating area, comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom and tub. The rooftop terrace was spectacular and a complimentary beverage was appreciated.
Very small entry. Tight quarters around bed area. Amenities in bathroom should include a creamy body lotion, not the watery "lotion" that was available.
