Pros:

Amazing location. Beautiful building with rooftop terrace and amazing views. The facilities were perfect, and the views were stunning. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros:

Tout ! L’emplacement idéal, le rooftop avec vue sur une partie de la ville, les bains spacieux et de standing, les chambres tout aussi luxueuses, et le personnel au petit soin… vraiment un sans faute

La terrazza per goderti un aperitivo mentre immergi i piedi in una vasca di acqua calda e ti godi il panorama.
L'onsen sempre aperto.
Bevande e gelati free a disposizione degli ospiti.
Gli arredi, la camera..tutto è stato fantastico

We wouldn't stay here again, but it was a pleasant enough stay- and the location was GREAT.
Pros:

We didn't opt for the bento box breakfast here, but instead picked up food from the basement of the dept. store across the street. (Sounds crazy, but it was a food circus in that basement--with everything imaginable!) Our room was TINY, which was a bit of a shock. BUT, the hotel was shiny clean and in a GREAT location, so we enjoyed the room as a "Japan experience" and the staff was very kind and helped us book a dinner reservation in a great restaurant.

Cons:

We're not used to "bento box" size rooms. It was TINY. It was pretty, but we were maneuvering around each other in the room. AND, while the bed was big and comfortable- one entire side of it was against a wall. So whoever slept on that side of the bed, had to crawl over their partner to get out, or exit at the bottom of the bed. A little weird.

Lovely Stay in Kyoto
Pros:

We had an amazing stay at Sora Niwa Terrace! The rooftop views were stunning and the footbath was such a relaxing touch, especially after a long day of exploring. We also really enjoyed the onsens, which were clean, peaceful, and a highlight of our stay. The location was perfect - convenient to everything while still feeling like a calm retreat. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. We loved our experience here and would highly recommend Sora Niwa Terrace to anyone visiting Kyoto!

Pros:

La terrasse même si nous n'avons pas eu un excellent temps. L'emplacement de l'hôtel . la chambre très belle Mais petite avec une très belle salle de bain

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner servi à la réception..le prendre dans la chambre ( très petite la chambre donc pas très pratique ) pour la terrasse pas pratique non plus il faut monter d'un étage et quand il pleut le prendre à la réception qui n'est pas grande et avec tout les clients qui passent pas super.. pour les onsens pas terrible un très bien et le 2em fermer avec une odeur de friture....

Pros:

Free drinks station and location was really good taxi rank right outside

Cons:

Wasn’t impressed that the hotel enforce you to pay for drinks on the roof terrace in the evening as you can bring drinks up from the lounge but also must pay. The roof terrace was completely dead all the time except the free drink hours so I think the hotel should re look at this to get people to use the space

Amazing except dust in the fan
