Elaf Kinda Hotel

Excellent bed and location.

Bedding and towels were so clean and comfortable. Room was supplied with everything we needed. The scale in the bathroom was a nice touch. Place is quiet, all staff are nice and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the water pressure of the the sink fossette. The shower was super powerful but the sink was very annoying. Didn't bother to complain as I was out most of the time. Oh and when you flush the toilet it splashes water on the seat so i have to rince it every time. Probably water pressure needs adjustment.
Would come back again and would recommend it if you want to comfortably pray five times in Haram.

extremely small rooms, not clean, dust everywhere, leftover crumbs, outdate uncomfortable furniture. Needs an overhaul. will never stay there again

Well first of the hotel was hard to located stood for hours before I could find it after series of calls to the reception whom refused to send out someone to assist since the road is blocked. The hall ways had this carpet smell and the rooms carpet were dirty. The food was good though and the location was very close to the mosque.

Best location possible. Easy access for elevators. No hassle.

Very Good except cleaning

The hotel is in close proximity to Masjid Al Haraam and has food places in the vicinity.

The hotel is comfortable and clean however there is only 6 lifts in the building which is insufficient for the amount of people who stay at the hotel. It can take a long time to get to your room or to leave the building, especially at Salah times.

The other issue with this hotel is that you will be dropped off at a far distance with your luggage as there is no road access outside the hotel. This can be a problem if you have a large group with elderly or children.

Rahat was the person who would come round and clean our room and look after us. He was fantastic. Very polite and friendly. He would make sure that we had what we needed all the time.

Overall it is a brilliant hotel, close to the Masjid and with very polite staff in general.

Far from transport

It took over a hour to get into the hotel due to roadworks in the area

Very close to the haram which is great and the staff were all very helpful. Hotels prayer room is also very nice and useful for when you can’t make it in time to make salah in the haram. However the hotel is old and our room was very unclean- fingerprints and splash marks were everywhere, the bedding was torn at the bottom, curtains are fraying, and overall looks like it hasn’t been updated in many years. Biggest issue is that they do not have a drop off/pick up area for taxis- this was an issue for us arriving to Makkah as our taxi didn’t know where to drop us off. We also had to walk far to the taxi area with all our bags to leave. Overall the hotel was fine but it definitely had some drawbacks.
