Um espaço 'escondido' perto do centro de Lisboa onde apetece passar horas a ler ou conversar
Pros:

O York House é um hotel 'cozy', tem um estilo um pouco antiquado mas o que o torna muito 'welcoming'. A localização no bairro Santos é ótimo para quem precisar um acesso fácil (de carro) em direção de Estoril, e permite ao mesmo tempo explorar a cidade a pé. Os quartos são muito confortáveis e o pequeno almoço oferece muita escolha.

Cons:

O único aspeto que podia ser uma razão para não ficar no York House é o acesso à receção. Da entrada na rua é preciso subir muitas escadas num espaço apertado. Uma vez dentro do hotel, se pode pedir quartos no Rés do Chão.

Pros:

The location is good, within walking distance from the city centre and around 6 tram stops from the congress centre. The courtyard was very nice. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

The quality of the breakfast was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The room/bathroom was worn. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations for a 4 star hotel with such high rating on booking.

Mein Partner und ich haben eine wundervolle Woche hier verbracht.
Pros:

Die Lage war super. Das Hotel ist in einem ruhigeren, etwas hipperen Viertel gelegen. Dort kann man super spazieren und frühstücken. Zu Fuß sind es etwa 20 Minuten ins sehr touristische Zentrum, man kann die historische Straßenbahn an der naheliegenden Kreuzung nehmen. Sonst fahren noch verschiedene Busse und Trams 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt in verscheidene Richtungen.

Das Hotel ist wirklich besonders schön und das Personal war immer sehr nett und hilfreich. Es gibt einen Portier, der mit dem Gepäck hilft (einfach unten klingeln oder an der Rezeption Bescheid geben). Das Frühstück haben wir nur einmal probiert aber es war sehr lecker und vielfältig und man kann im superschönen Frühstücksraum oder auf der Terrasse essen. Zimmerservice haben wir auch ausprobiert - war sehr lecker!

Außerdem hat uns so gut gefallen, dass sich das Hotel in einem ehemaligen Kloster befindet und die einzigartigen historischen Details sehr gut erhalten oder in das Hotel integriert wurden.

Am vorletzten Abend stand ein Tablett mit Portwein und Pasteis de Nata im Zimmer - wir haben sie sehr genossen und uns gefreut!

Wir wollen sehr gerne in dieses Hotel zurückkehren!

Cons:

Mir fällt nichts Negatives ein. Das Hotel hat uns so gut gefallen und war sehr besonders.

Der einzige Punkt der mir einfällt gilt für ältere oder unfitte Gäste - es gibt einige Treppen, die zum Hotel bzw. zu den Zimmern führen. Das hat uns nicht gestört aber könnte für manche Menschen schwierig sein. In diesem Fall ist das hügelige Lissabon jedoch vielleicht sowieso nicht die richtige Wahl.
