Good location and value for money.
Pros:

The staff are very good, especially the Miri and Muhammed, they can speak and understand the English well. The location of the property is very nice, all the famous places are within 500 meters including Nizami Street. This is the ideal choice for small families with 2 kids. The price was reasonable.

Cons:

There are a couple of things that need to be improved.
The breakfast can be improved further.
The hotel management can add more facilities for guests, like the swimming pool and gym.
A few items are required renovation, which will change the hotel more attractive.

only good thing was the location

the reception guy Mikael was so rude and abrupt
they showed me 2 single rooms that were dark and dingy
After I complained he showed a single room on the 2nd floor which was tiny but better
A/C was very noisy
no towels in bathroom had to go down to reception to get them
bathroom rather grotty
Fridge not working motioned to reception it never got fixed nor did the shower
they said it will get done and it never did
do not stay here find a better place

Great location, but old hotel not well maintained
Pros:

The best thing is the location. Decent breakfast with homemade jams and fruits served as well. Unfortunately, there is nothing else too good about the Hotel. I would not suggest it to families as the Hotel is really old and not well maintained.

Cons:

Old hotel. Staff insisted on making payment in cash local currency or in USD. We realized later that they had a facility to pay by card, but still insisted on cash payment which is not right, as they don't have to pay taxes when payment is made in cash. Since we didn't have local currency we had to spend our US dollars which we exchanged for tours. Hence, if staying here please ensure you make payment by card only if that is your intention. Many things not maintained. The bathroom showers were bad and spilling all over the place. Despite informing the staff they didn't do much about it. We stayed for 8 days and every day we reminded them. The plumber came to check after repeated reminders but he didn't change the shower. He just checked it and went. Cleanliness, not great just basic cleaning was done due to which the bathrooms were smelling when we were back after our tours. No hot water kettle or cups provided, when asked they said they didn't have any.

Will chose Passage Boutique again if I visit Baku again. Will recommend the hotel to my friends and family also.
Pros:

Spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was also good. Staff were great . Special thanks to Mikail and Miri. Location is excellent.

Cons:

WiFi needs to be improved.

Lovely apartment, but I wouldn’t stay there again due to poor service and lack of Wi-Fi.
Pros:

It was a large apartment with three bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen (including a fridge, microwave, etc.). The location was great — close to the old city. There was a breakfast buffet, which was fine.

Cons:

There was a lot of confusion when we had to check in. As it turned out, the apartment wasn’t part of the hotel, but was located a couple of streets away — something that should be mentioned on Booking.com, because it can be hard to get there with heavy luggage or for someone who can’t easily walk long distances.

The receptionist who brought us there barely spoke English and couldn’t explain where we were going. It felt a bit spooky, especially when he took us to a different building — not the one we were supposed to stay in — and told us to pay in cash.
We refused, and after complaining several times, we were eventually allowed to pay by card the next day. Overall, communication with the young reception staff was difficult, as they often seemed confused and uninformed.

The Wi-Fi in the apartment was not working, and we had no hot water for the final two days of our stay.

Персонал был дружелюбным и внимательным к нашим просьбам. Завтрак был свежим и приготовлен с домашней любовью, с разнообразием блюд. Мы особенно наслаждались свежими соками и выпечкой. В отеле также есть замечательная терраса, где приятно выпить утренний кофе. Мы очень довольны и порекомендуем это место нашим друзьям!
