Loved how peaceful and cozy I felt.
I'm sure this place was quite lovely when initially opened but unfortunately it's....not anymore. Broken, cheap, stained, heavy wear and tear on everything couch, chairs, broken and moldy tiles, furniture is cheap particle board and falling apart, headboard so worn out it kinda grossed me out, dirty walls, wanky TV with wires everywhere, spotty at best wifi, no window covers on many windows and overuse of shower curtains to hide the lack of care, dirty poolside furniture and dirty pool. Could be nice but no true care seems to be given. And no one else was there!? Add in no staff on the premise....just plain odd.
as soon as we entered our place, there was a horrible smell. a few minutes later we discovered one of the AC units was dripping into the carpet making it wet and cause mold which is terrible to breathe in. we had to find another hotel last minute but avant stay was kind enough to give us a refund.

Rooms are super comfortable
Could have used just one rug in the main area, either under the coffee table or at the foot of the bed. Having all concrete floors and bare feet kind of gets old after a while and it would feel more homey. Way too many text messages, like probably a dozen between booking and checking in on Sunday afternoon and checking out Sunday morning. Very cute place and beautifully decorated. Vintage, retro and artsy vibe is definitely a spot to pick over a regular ol hotel. The pool area was great even though it was during quiet season. Felt like a movie set and we slept well.
This property was the definition of "just ok!". I appreciated that the AC unit worked well and kept our room cold during a hot weekend, but it didn't work upon arrival and thankfully an AvantStay member happened to walk in when we did! The community area was also "just ok", felt a bit dirty and definitely looked nicer in pictures. All in all, this was a "you get what you pay for" moment! Did it work for the trip? Yes. Would I recommend it or stay again? No.

Unique boutique hotel
It gives me no pleasure to post this. But, people should know what to expect.
Looking at the photos on the website, you get the feeling of a chic retro boutique hotel, but In actuality, the decor is chinzy looking and not maintained well.
I’ve included some photos of what I’m talking about. On the plus side the bed was comfortable the shower was powerful,there was a large TV,and the microwave and toaster was a plus that most places don’t supply.
The room overall was okay. The floor was concrete where it looked like tile or carpet was pulled up and not replaced. It appeared clean but also like it was in the middle of an upgrade. An 'excuse our mess' type of sign would have gone a long way to know that this is not normal (unless it is normal?).
The bed was comfortable. There was a small table with two chairs and this was convenient for laptop use. There was one chair for viewing TV (?) and it was not comfortable.
I would stay here again if it was just me because the location is convenient. And now I know it is 'rustic'. An upgrade to the flooring and a comfortable chair and I would give it a 5.
The couch was in two pieces and they weren’t connected
There were tiles missing in the bathroom near the toilet
The mini split on the living room and bedroom would not blow cold air so sleeping was very uncomfortable as it was hot
Location was good
Upon arrival to the hotel, I noticed that there was no one on site to ask any questions. The room itself was OK. The patio was really dirty. I was looking forward to barbecue so I had to be the one to clean it up so that I can be able to use it when I was showering. I had soap in my eyes. The water stopped running completely, I had to come out of the shower and figure out how to clean Soap off of my eyes.
Property has all the character you would hope for - and it’s clean and people in the neighborhood are friendly!
The visitors in the room above us were inconsiderably loud running back and forth until 1am Saturday night and 12am Sunday night. After contacting the customer service representatives they said they would reach out and nothing changed keep us up all night.
Check-in code didn’t work it was a sweltering day. People were partying above us at 3 am. The following day I asked to move rooms and they couldn’t do anything since they were fully booked, but they made no attempt to remedy the situation.
The best part was that the morning we were checking out, the ac unit started pouring out water.
This place was cute. But it was an uncomfortable stay. It is June and about 110 degrees out. Our suite was extremely hot. There was no central air. The fans could not be set at full speed. The ac on the wall only cooled down a portion of the room. We were sweaty after our showers. It never cooled down.
The Wesley is a great little getaway within walking distance to downtown Palm Springs.
Location is great. Place was comfortable with amenities. Especially enjoyed the pool and spa. It’s cute too.
It was a great representation of palm springs. Chill, hip. It was a neat modern retro place. We love the lp player in the room. Overall it was a really great place to stay at.
